Previously:
I sit up, kind of disappointed before my phone began to ring. "Joseph?" I ask."Yea, were you expecting a conference with Cassandra from the Clear Waters pack?" He asks kind of quietly.
"No, and wouldn't that spoil the plan?" I ask.
"Yea, but she's here with about thirty enforcers demanding to speak with you. She doesn't look happy and her and Angel are having some sort of stand off, both sides ready to fight." He explains.
"One, is Calvin ad Max there? Two, does she know that I'm out of town? Three, what the hell does she want?" I growl.
"Calvin isn't here, which makes me doubt he knows this is going on. Max went to a meeting about three hours away so he left around 7 this morning. I gave him a call but he told me 'don't call unless there's an emergency', then hung up. You need to get here." I growl frustratedly.
"Tell her we'll be landing there in about four hours. We're leaving now." I growl.
I bang on the bathroom door urgently as I dial Gary's number. "Babe we need to leave, like now."
Lucifer POV:
As the plane starts to descend the dots became more familiar as werewolves and wolves. Maybe a hundred feet keep them apart. I'm more curious if they've been standing like this for hours.
I waited for Gary to open the door that lead into the stair case. Watching everyone stare at me as the door went down. I step to the side and let Livy walk down first, taking her bag off of her.
Joseph ran over to the plane and grabbed the bags. "What took so long? He asks.
"It's a four to five hour flight, and we needed to put fuel in the tank so we wouldn't have fall out the sky on our way here."
"Ok, fair enough." Joseph says.
"Joseph I need you to stay with Livy until this is over, because frankly I don't want her in harms way and I have no idea what their intentions are. And as my best friend I'm asking you to protect my girlfriend. And when you get inside, give Calvin a call so he can talk some sense into his wife."
I look at Livy, and she now looks worried. I hold her close to me. "Everything will be fine, it's just a safety precaution, you know we can't risk anything." She nod her head. I kiss her lips and then her forehead before she left with Joseph.
I walked about 300 meters to reach them, and it was without saying that they've been standing like this and they could stand longer. I watched as Cassandra glared at Livy until she disappeared into the house. I honestly don't even know where to start, what to say.
"What the hell is going on?" I ask standing in between my sister and Cassandra.
"We need to talk." Cass says.
"What could be so important that you've done all this?"
"There's only one way this back and forth shit will stop."
"What back and forth shit!? You're out of your mind, clearly not well, and your hormones are making you do stupid shit. So go home." I tell her.
Her hurt expression was too hard to miss, but she quickly tries to cover it up. Oddly enough the silence becomes louder as her and her pack refuses to leave, she keeps fighting to say something but nothing really comes out. Every time her lips part, a small whimper would escape and her bottom lip would quiver. This is getting pathetic.
