Previously:"Is she, Lucifer? If the last time you saw her and she wanted you, then you left, do you truly think she's happy?" I can't believe he's making sense, it's very rare. "Now stop being a sap and get your girl."
Then there's his misunderstanding. "She has a blind love for her husband. I can't have her unless he's dead, and if she ever found out I was behind the murder of her kids father I really will be erased from her life. For good."
"Then we rid her of him. A plan that lasts long enough that she wouldn't think it was you. Then she finds you, and you have her again. You do it the right way this time. Your sister had the right idea when she tried to get him kille-"
"My sister got those men so injured that we had to put them down. I know I didn't want him dead then, but now I know what it takes. I will have her."
Lucifer POV:
I spent 6 hours in the gym, Joseph left after two and a half. I stayed because even though it's established that there will be a plan created, it was also established this plan is going to be long term. So I continued to push myself in every obstacle that was in the weight room. I only left because I skipped out on breakfast and my stomach was growling insanely loud, it became distracting and hard to ignore.
I went to take another shower because I didn't want to walk around the house smelling of sweat and disgust. Sitting at the island I watch as an omega, Livy, made my grilled cheese. I guess word got round that nothing swell happened while I was gone, she saw my scoping the fridge and insisted that she cooked whatever my stomach desired.
It's normal for omegas to cook, it's rare that they offer. Some take comfort in cooking, those are the ones that make dinner and baked goods because they make sure it cooked to perfection and we all enjoy ourselves so much we get lost in the taste. The ones that do it because they don't really have a choice, are in charge of lunch because some of starve until dinner, where the food seems endless. But the Sun Risers, which is what we call the omegas that are up before the sun is, makes breakfast so when we wake we have food already prepared/ in the making.
To be clear, we don't make them do anything. The omegas in this pack feels as if they're actually useless, and do nothing for us. As always we assure them that there's more to them than making food, they just don't believe it themselves.
Livy is a Sun Riser, sometimes she even helps with lunch and dinner. I don't see her often, but then again she tries to steer clear of Alphas and Betas. She's not bad, but she's an omega, I guess it's just too much to be around.
The plate with six grilled cheeses skid across the counter. I look up and Livy is just smiling at me. She's probably 5'2, she has dirty blonde hair and green eyes. Her hair is in a tight pony tail, and I realize she's wearing jogging clothes. I look back at her eyes, and she nods her head.
"You gonna take a bit?" She asks. I raise my eyebrow and her smile kind of fades as she pressed her lips into a line. "I've cooked before, but you've never eaten anything I made." She explains.
"In alpha school they said that if anyone that prepares your food, watches intensely they've probably poisoned it." I tell her.
She scoffs and walks around the counter. She took a bit of each one, I watched as she chewed. I guess it's a lot of food for her little mouth because she takes a minute, and places her hand over her mouth as she swallowed and then took a deep breath as if all her energy was put into chewing. "See I'm alive." She gave me a cute little smile. "I don't mean to brag but I did an amazing job."
