IGNORING
Harry
I get up and groan and look at the wall clock, it's already eleven. I remember my friends leaving at four in the morning and me struggling to go up the stairs. I went to the guest room where Angie was sleeping and leave a kiss on her forehead before stumbling into my own bedroom and fell asleep.
Last night was fun, it was nice catching up with my old friends that I'll miss so dearly again. I unlock my phone and check if I have messages, I have a few from my friends and I reply to them. I get up and proceed to Angie's room to check on her. I lay down on the bed and she's busy packing her clothes, she's nearly done.
"Morning baby. Excited to go back to London?" I say, "Why are you packing so early? We still have brunch," I say again, "Baby?" I attempt once more.
No response. Is she ignoring me? All she's doing is packing her clothes and arranging her bags. She leaves the room carrying her clothes. Why the hell is she ignoring me? I didn't do anything bad last night.
I go to my room and start packing my bag. I lay my clothes that I'm going to wear on the bed. The usual, blue skinny jeans, my white shirt, green beanie, and my brown boots. I go back to Angie's room and lay down on the bed. Shortly, she arrives wearing a cream sweater and blue skinny jeans with her black boots. She let her hair down and she looks stunning.
"Hey," I say, trying to break the silence.
"I'll be downstairs." That's all she says and now I'm more curious what I've done to her.
When she left the room, it was already neat and tidy. I make my way to the bathroom to take a shower, because it's going to be a long drive. I know some people are thinking, he has a hangover, I do, but not as worst as some of my friends who did a lot of shots last night. I didn't plan to get wasted because I know that the fact that Angie and I are going back to London.
After my warm shower, I put my clothes on and head downstairs. I bump into my sister in the hallway, she's wearing her pyjamas, but it looks like she woke up hours ago.
"Hey, can I ask you something?" I ask,
"Shoot." She replies.
"Angie has been ignoring me since I got up. Do you have any idea what's wrong?"
"Hmm..." She paused, "I don't know H, maybe she didn't like the fact that you spent the whole time with your friends? Or maybe she's still upset about you not telling her about Fliss." She states,
"Oh, alright. I better talk to her then."
"You better."
Gemma runs straight to Angie who is sitting there alone eating her brunch and my parents are that as well.
"Morning baby," My mum greets, "Come and join us, we're awfully going to miss you," I smile at my mum,
My mum cooked a lot for brunch, and I eat a lot. I don't regret it because I'm going to miss my mum's cooking. After about an hour, Angie isn't talking to me at all and I'm getting a tad worried.
I look at the time and it's already time to go back to London. It's one in the afternoon and I hate the fact that we have to leave. Angie goes to the room and I follow her.
"Babe, what's wrong? Why are you ignoring me?" I ask,
"Nothing. I'm just tired, not in the mood for things. Can we just go back to London, I think I'm going to have a fever." She says with a monotonous tone, she's not even looking at me. I shrug and take our bags downstairs. She takes her backpack and we leave the room tidy.
