>Picture of Demi to the right again!<
Demi sat down the end of her Garden with Callum. She was making daisy chains whilst he whistled to her. Demi giggled as he hit the high notes and looked up from her daisy chain to look at him. Callum was staring back intensely. Demi crinkled her face at his intenseness.
"What are you looking at?..." she asked biting her lip worried.
Since she had been released from the hospital a few weeks ago she'd been going to twice a weekly therapy sessions and writing in the book her Doctor had given her. She had began to question everyone's actions and intention, just to be safe, to think things around her head and not assume the worst. She was slowly getting there but needed a lot more help.
Callum and her had been practically inseparable over the few weeks, but still hadn't spoken about their feelings toward each other. Demi guessed Callum was waiting until Demi was in a better state of mind, which Demi thought was lovely but it had been a while now, so now she was just waiting for him to bring it up,
Callum chuckled softly "Nothing, just you..." he said softly and started to hum instead of whistle.
"Why?.." Demi asked straight after, she knew Callum was used to her new inquiries with everything, so therefore she didn't hesitate when she spoke to him, others, she had to be more reserved because she feared they would look at her weirdly and think she were strange.
"Because i think you are beautiful...is that allowed?.." he asked with a grin.
Demi rolled her eyes and giggled with a nod. "Oh, well yeah..." she said softly. She brushed some hair from her eyes and sung softly along to the tune Callum was humming. She looked to Callum a little longer before going back to her daisy chain.
A few moments passed of pleasant silence between them before Callum cleared his throat.
"Uhm, So, Dee, how are you feeling?.." he asked quietly. Demi looked up to him and smiled weakly. She put her daisy chain down and moved to sit closer to Callum. She looked away at the sky for a few moments before talking in a deep breath.
"Better...not great, but much better i think..." she said softly. "Someday's it worse than others, but when i get upset or anger or frustrated i just write in my little book and i feel a bit better afterwards...and...well you calm me down and make me happy aswell...I'm better when i'm with you.." Demi added quietly playing with her hands. Demi looked up to meet Callum's gaze and saw him nod with a soft smile on his lips.
Now it was Callum's time to looked away at the sky and take a deep breath. Demi bit her lip and looked down at her hands.
"When you sent me that text....that day. I....My heart broke in two...I couldn't breathe. It was like time had stopped at the horrible moment. I remember thinking if you died that i'd stop breathing, stop living, because you gave me life, give me life, and i had this horrible sick feeling in my stomach." he said to her still looking at the sky.
"I was so scared..." he whispered turning to look at her. Demi's eyes flickered up to look into his. She bit her lip willing for her eyes not to tear up.
"When i was running to you..It was like time had gone into slow motion..no matter how fast i tried to run i wasn't moving as fast as i needed too...When i got there...I...I thought it was too late..Oh God Demi, i was so scared....The girl i loved was writhing on the floor, pills cascaded around her, screaming out in pain that she didn't want to live...My heart broke. It broke Demi..." he said quietly.
Tears spilled out of Demi's eyes, she bit on her lip hard. Callum took hold of her hand and dragged her into a hug. "You said you loved me.." he whispered to her. "Do you?...Because i know i love you" he asked.
Demi moved away from his hug but stayed close to him. She rubbed her eyes and nodded "I do love you..." she whispered hoarsly. She coughed before repeating it "I do love you Cal, and i know i need you...you keep me happy, sane..I need you and love you.." she said to him sincerely and brushed the hair that had fallen into her eyes away.
Callum grinned like a chesire cat and grabbed Demi's wrists dragging her against him. He wrapped an arm around her and the other came to her face, he titled her face up to look at his and smiled softly. "I love you Dee...Truly.." he said softly before pressing his lips against hers gently. He broke off a few seconds later looking her.
Demi looked to Callum, her glassy eyes blinking with slight surprise. She brought her hands up to his face and kissed him again.
It was a truly magical kiss, the one you read about in love stories, soft, sweet, passionate, so long awaited.
Demi pulled away and looked to Callum as he smiled happily at her. She couldn't help but smile aswell, his was contagious.
Callum held her against him still and started to laugh. Somewhat bemused Demi laughed quietly, wondering why he was laughing.
"That was so much better than i expected.." he said to her with a grin. Demi rolled her eyes and joined in with his laughter.

Demi stood by her locker with Callum. It was the first day she'd been back since, well, since that day. She stuffed her bag into her locker with a sigh.
"Everyone's going to be even worse to me now..You know what they're like!.." she said to Callum closing her locker and banging her head against it. She felt Callum's soft hands on her shoulders and twirled round to face him. He had his gorgeous crooked smile on his face.
"Don't be stupid, no one will be like that! And even if someone were, they'd be wrong, remember, write it in your book, don't take it personally...But nothing like that will happen.." he said to her confidently.
Demi sighed but nodded pressing her lips to his softly and quickly. "Okay, i trust you.." she whispered.
She was about to say something else when an all too familiar squeal hit her ears. Demi spun round and was immediately dragged into a hug. Jess who squealing and crying and laughing all at the same time.
"You...absolute whore! Why didn't you tell me you were back today...I've been worried sick!...! she said in a stern tone, but Demi could tell she was happy to see her.
Demi laughed "Jess...We've skyped nearly every night since?..." she said squeezing her bestfriend tight. She could feel Jess laugh and pulled away. "You look nice...I like you hair, It's lighter right?.." Demi asked.
Jess nodded enthusiastically and grinned at her two shades lighter blonde hair. She peered round Demi and saw Callum. She grinned to him and walked over to give him a brief hug. "It's nice too see you to Callum, even though i've seen you at school all week.." she said with a laugh.
Callum had had to go back to school but every afternoon he'd go to see Demi. Jess hadn't been allowed though, Demi's dad hadn't wanted her being overwhelmed. Demi had been diagnosed with severe depression, so he was wary to not tip her off the edge.
Jess linked her hands with Demi and beamed "Ready for Bio?..." she asked. Demi nodded but unlinked her fingers so she could go to say good bye to Callum.
She walked up to him and bit her lip. His soft smile relaxed her though. He scooped her into his arms and rested his head against hers.
"Everything will be fine Dee, I'll see you at break..." he said softly and kissed her tenderly. Demi loved Callum's kisses, she could just met away and kiss those lips forever.
Jess' coughing broke them apart. "FYI guys...PDA's are NOT cute..." she said teasingly and grabbed Demi's hand and dragged her off to biology.
So far, this day hadn't completely sucked. It was promising.
