"Are we broken up now?"
"I like you, Justice." Nani says.
My mind goes blank. That's why Grayson said he didn't think I should be worried. I feel dumb for not believing what he said. Not only did I not listen to him, I was jealous for no damn reason. I should trust him more, but I can't. It's like I'm waiting for him to mess up, so I can label him as a beast, just like all my other "boyfriends". But I can't. Grayson's is good. He's very good. And he treats me well. I just wish I figured this out ahead of time.
"Nani, I'm flattered but I have Grayson." I say.
"I know, but I can do way more than he can." She says, scooting closer to me.
Her hand lands on my thigh, and rises higher. I gently scoot her hand off of me, and stand up.
"Look. I think you need to leave." I say.
"Justice, I-"
"Nani, please." I say.
"Fine." She says.
She grabs her things, and stuffs them into her book bag. I try to ignore eye contact with her to make things less awkward, but the tension in the room is too much for me to bear.
"Let me know if you change your mind." She says, walking out of my room.
"Not likely." I mumble.
She closes the door, and I sit down on my bed. I take my hair tie out of my hair, to redo my bun. After I finish, I grab my phone. I tap on Grayson's contact, and text him.
Me: what are you doing rn..
Mi Amor💖: out with Ethan
Mi Amor💖: why?
Me: nothing
Me: i just really wanted to see you that's all
Mi Amor💖: alright
Mi Amor💖: i'm omw
Me: you don't have to come if you don't want to
Mi Amor💖: you're my girl

I lock my phone, and wait for his arrival. I sat on my bed, in a state of stillness. I go back and forth in my mind whether I should tell Grayson about Nani's actions.
I don't want to lie to him,but this may be too big of a pill for him to swallow. I want him to know the truth, but I don't know what he might do.
Within minutes, my phones chirps. I see Grayson's photo.
