I was cheering at a Bruins football game. Lonzo and some of the guys had came out to watch me cheer because we are having a family night at Bryce's apartment after the game and they wanted us to all go together. We basically all chill and play games while I cook for everyone.
For the most part cheering at the game was fun. The Bruins ended up winning so we were all hype.
I was standing with the cheer team talking and getting my stuff together.
"Girl don't look now but I think Josh fine ass is coming over here to talk to you."
I drop my bag and fix up my hair really quick.
I causally turn around to see him coming towards me.
"Hey ladies." He said flashing a smile to the team.
"Hey Josh." They say in unison.
"Hey Malika." He says licking his lips.
"What's up Josh?" I say twirling a strand of my hair.
"Nothing much. I saw you looking good over here and thought why not come see what you're up to?"
"How sweet of you? Congratulations on the win."
"Well you know me, I'm as sweet as they come. And thanks. It helped that I had one of the baddest cheerleaders cheering for me." He sad smiling showing off his smile.
"And who would that be?" I say putting my hand one my hip.
"You."
"I don't recall cheering specifically for you."
"Well a guy could hope."
I couldn't help but laugh at him.
"So how about you let me take you out tonight?"
Before I could answer I felt someone wrap their arm around my shoulder. I turn to see that it's Zo.
"Hey Malika." He says kisisng the top of my head.
"Hey Zo." I say giving him a side hug. He kept his arm around me shoulder.
"Sup Josh."
"Nothing Lozno just trynna talk to Malika, if you don't mind."
"Oh just ignore me."
Josh gives Lonzo a confusing look.
"Are you guys together or something?"
"Nah we're just really good friends." Lonzo says smirking.
"Alright. Malika you wanna go out this Saturday?"
"She can't. She's gonna be chilling with my family that day." Lonzo replied before I had a chance too.
"Well damn." Josh says.
"How about I take your number down and I'll let you know when I'm free?" I say taking my phone out my bag.
"That sounds good." He says then tells me his number.
"Alright later Josh." I say giving him a hug.
"Later gorgeous. Bye Lonzo."
"Bye."
As soon as Josh walks off I turn to Lonzo.
"Why you gotta cockblock?"
"Because Josh ain't no good and he not about to dog you out."
