I started to regain consciousness again. I was laying on a cold stone floor.
"That's her?" I heard someone ask. "She's a little more green than I thought."
I rolled over and let out a huge moan.
"Oh this is so exciting!" the voice squealed. "Our first moments together!"
I rubbed my eyes and let my vision come back into focus. Standing in front of me were two ladies. One I recognized as the lady from before, but the other was new. She looked slightly younger and had long reddish-brown hair. It was braided on both sides hanging over her shoulders. Her dress had a long magenta skirt and the top was dark green with golden trim. Again there was that floral-like design, but this time it was in navy blue. Her shoes were dark green flats that matched the top of the dress.
"Who-, what-, where-," I stuttered not sure where to begin.
"Asforthewhoi'man-," she began speaking so fast I could barely understand her. She really had a bubbly personality.
"Anna, slow down, no one can understand you," the lady said.
"Oops, sorry Elsa," she apologized. "Anyways, what do you think of the place? I helped clean it up this morning."
I looked around. Above me was a huge marble dome ceiling. Gold marble lined the walls and the tiles on the floor. There were two large staircases that became one spiral staircase at either end in the far back. I could see the sky from a window in-between the staircases. In front of me was a huge pair of white marble doors. They must have been at least eight feet tall. This one room was about as big as my whole upstairs, and must have cost millions more.
But this wasn't home. I don't know why I was here. I don't know who these strange Anna and Elsa people were. I was here against my will. Was this kidnapping? Yes! Yes, I was kidnapped. This was bad, this was a police matter, this was a federal crime! My life could be in danger!
Adrenaline pumped through my veins. My hands started to shake uncontrollably. I eyed the door and started to get up.
"No!" I shouted.
"No?" Anna asked.
"No. I-I need to go. I-I am going-"
I was nearly to the door.
"Don't leave!" Anna cried.
"This is your new home, you're safe here," Elsa said, moving to block the door.
"No. No. You-you kidnapped me! You're keeping me hostage here! You're-you're-you're going to m-murder me!" I screamed.
I could feel tears in my eyes. Was I actually having an emotional break down?
"Please!" I begged. "I'll give you a ransom if that's what you want! Just let me go!"
"Let it go?" Anna suggested.
Elsa chuckled, but I wasn't finding any of this funny in the least.
I fell to the floor and let the tears pour down my face. Elsa crouched down next to me and tried to comfort me.
"It's okay," she cooed. "We're fam-"
I didn't let her finish. Because she had moved next to me, the doorway was clear. Quickly I got up and ran to the door before Anna or Elsa could object. I ran and pushed the double doors open with all my might.
Outside was a very different landscape. There were boats of all kinds sailing into a harbor from a vast sea. On either side were mountains creating a humongous fjord. This would have been beautiful on any other day, except this wasn't anywhere near home. I don't even think I was in the United States.
I stood wide-eyed in the doorway and didn't notice that Anna and Elsa were now behind me.
"Where am I?" I demanded.
"Arendelle," Anna answered.
Great. Real helpful. Arendelle could be literally anywhere.
"Where am I?" I repeated.
"Norway," Elsa responded.
Norway! That's nearly a quarter around the world! That would what, a 10 hour flight? It had been only an hour? Two? It was still bright outside. But then there was the time zone difference. And jet lag. I was surprised the jet lag hadn't set in yet.
"Why am I in Norway?" I shrieked. I had never been so far away from home.
"Lisa, we've brought you to your kingdom," said Elsa. "We've brought you home."
