I slowly awoke. Stretching my arms as I sat up. When I opened my eyes I was startled, I had no idea where I was or how I got there.
I used a blanket to cover myself. But I realized I was alone. "What the," I found a stack of clothes with my name on a piece of paper. Regardless of the confusion, I smiled and put them on.
I walked out of the bedroom I was sleeping in only to find a hallway. Did I mention it was a long hallway. Shit was as long as a football field. I had no idea where to go, so I looked down at the ground. Rose petals were sprinkled at my feet. "What?" I gasped. I followed the rose petals down the hallway and around twists and turns. But then they abruptly stopped. I was in a spacious room now, a dreamy kitchen to my left and a dreamy guy to my right. I shuffled over to the guy who's name I faintly remembered. My memory slowly came back as I grew closer to the man sprawled on the couch.
                              Aaron, Edward, Richard?
In the daylight I could really appreciate the starkness of his jawbone. It felt like hours as I watched the rhythmic motion of his chest rising and falling.
                              Eric.
My mind wandered off after a while, images of Tony and Becca. My parents, even Sarge. So much has happened in the past four days. I yawned before standing up from my seat on the floor and gently shook Eric awake.
He made an adorable grunt before rolling on his side that was facing away from me. I knew in that moment that he was a heavy sleeper. I began to shower him with kisses on his exposed cheek and neck. It wasn't until I reached his mouth that he woke up.
"Hey sunshine." I teased as I pulled away.
"No, come back." Eric adorably grabbed my wrist limply and pulled me back over to him. He smelled rich of vanilla and coconut. It made me remember our close proximity
"Why were you sleeping all the way out here?" I laid next to him on the couch, drawing circles on his chest.
"I like to give women space the first night." He mumbled, his eyes still closed.
"Women? How many are we talking?" I playfully gasped.
"Two," a childish smile formed on his lips and he opened his eyes. Our eyes met and we didn't move for five minutes. Me drawing circles on his chest, and Eric lightly scratching the small of my back. "You're beautiful." He tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. "I never want this to end."
"It doesn't have to, give me your phone." I suggested.
"Behind you," He pointed towards his cellphone laying face down on the coffee table. "Password is all zeroes."
"Oh so you're one of those people?" I smirked as I unlocked his phone and opened up his address book. I made a new contact for myself and even took a photo of myself for my contact photo. Once I was done, I put his phone back down and leaned in for one last kiss. "I have to start heading back, I have my only class of the day in an hour."
"Okay, I'll see you soon?" Eric asked as he got up from the couch and enveloped me in a warm embrace.
"I'll see you soon." I winked before heading out the door with my purse that was conveniently put at the front door along with my dress from last night.
                              ---
After class I texted Rebecca to meet at the coffee stand. Becca squealed as I told her what happened the previous night. "I told you the party would be good for you!"
"I didn't get his number though," I sighed. "He has mine."
"If he's smart he'll be blowing up your cell." Becca winked. "So what did you two do." She wiggled her eyebrows playfully.
