"You never tell me anything anymore baby," my mom tucked a stray hair behind my ear.
"I don't know, this has been a really stressful time since I'm trying to get caught up after being out for so long." I rambled as Becca winked at me from behind my mom.
"Well," she huffed. "Invite him to dinner, my treat!" She grinned, flashing me a pearly, white smile that I always envied my mother for.
"That's not a good idea," the idea of the three of us going out together has TERRIBLE IDEA written all over it.
"Why not? Any respectable man worthy of dating my daughter, would want to introduce themselves to your parents."
Alright she went there. "I'll call him," I gave in to my moms demands, realizing that, as usual, it's pointless to argue.
As I pulled out my phone, Becca and my mom started a conversation about God-knows-what. I dialed Tony's number hesitantly before pressing the phone to my ear firmly.
He picked up on the second ring. "I was so worried, how is it going?"
"Pretty bad actually," I sighed, feeling the need to nestle my face into the warmth of his chest.
"What happened?"
"Well, you're invited to dinner."
"How the hell is that going to happen," his tone was more serious now, but a certain edge to his voice made me think he was going to be mischievous.
"I have no clue, but what do we do?"
Tony sighed into the phone, "I guess I'm coming to dinner. Text me the details and I'll be there. Don't worry I have a plan."
"Okay," I caved. "Bye bye."
"Bye, love you," those two words caused my heart to skip a beat, making me reminisce to the day we confessed it to each other. Not to mention the mind-blowing sex right after.
"She's within earshot, but right back at you." I whispered.
Tony chuckled in response, "See ya."
Here goes nothing.

Two hours later, I was sitting with my mom and Becca, who decided to join along (so she could tease me the whole time), in a fancy restaurant in the city.
My mom helped pick out my outfit, a navy blue dress that hit above my knee around mid thigh. The sleeves stopped just below my elbows and the neckline was a sharp v-neck, that I accompanied with my biggest push up bra.
For shoes, I was wearing a pair of white wedges that I've had forever. Becca had curled my hair as my mom got ready. My mom is equally as petite as I am, allowing her to fit into my clothes with ease.
I hope I look that badass at her age.
My phone vibrated against the table causing my table-mates to glance at me, my moms expectant eyes linger on mine slightly longer. I check the message that's from Tony that says he is outside.
"He's here, let me go out and grab him." I gulped nervously. My mom nodded and straightened up her posture. Becca gave me a reassuring nod but I could tell that she was nervous as well, and Tony is about to find out that Becca knows about our relationship.
I walk outside the restaurant to see Tony standing there in attire I hadn't expected. He was wearing a blue button-down and a pair of khakis. When he sees me he rushes over to me and envelopes me in a short hug that left me wanting more.
