Brett's POV

I struggled against the chains on my arms and legs. They didn't budge. I howled into the air and snapped my teeth at the people near me. There were two men and they were acting like I wasn't even there.

"Why am I here? Where's my sister you sick twisted-" I was cut off.

"I wouldn't finish that sentence." The one that had brought me in here said. He didn't have the same amount of power or air of dominance that the other black haired male did, but he did hold some power. He seemed to be the beta of the pack while the other male was the alpha.

I realized then that the alpha was the one that was all over my sister. I growled at him and struggled harder against my chains. I had been doing this all day and it was getting tiring.

"I want an answer." I growled out.

"Your sister is safe in my tent. No harm will come to her, I can assure you that. As for your own safety it all depends on you. I wouldn't want to take the only family your sister has left away from her, but if your attitude doesn't change I will have to." The alpha spoke. "Also you both will not be leaving."

"You better not touch my sister or I'll rip your throat out and feed your body to the birds." I stop battling against my chains and stared as the alpha started laughing. His laugh was cold and held no cheer.

"You wouldn't touch me before I killed you." He said with a dead serious expression on his face. I scoffed. "I mean it pup, you have nothing on a mated werewolf; especially if you try to take their mate away."

"I won't take your freaking mate away. I just want my sister. Let us go and we won't bother you ever again. We didn't mean to stumble onto your territory and won't do it again." I tried reasoning with him when something clicked. "Wait… you said my sister was in your tent and that you wouldn't let her leave. Why is that?"

"She's my mate." He shrugged as if that was the most normal thing in the world. I stood there a second, struggling to digest his words when it clicked. This guy thought that my sister was his mate. That meant he would try to get with her.

"No, I won't let that happen. You won't and can't be the mate of my sister." I said calmly. I couldn't let any man scorn her for not being a virgin. I knew that that sick monster took that away from her and I vowed to kill him if I ever met him. He wouldn't do that to my sister and get away with it. This man in front of me seemed like the man to scorn a woman if she wasn't a virgin and I wasn't about to let that happen to my sister. She was torn up about it as it was to where she wouldn't even talk about that night to anyone, not even me.

"She is my true mate and therefore can never love another as she does me. She has already shared my bed, though I wish there was more action than cuddling." He grinned evilly before turning back to this beta.

I stretched as far as I was allowed with the chains, trying to reach the male nearest me. The alpha took a step forward without even looking at me and without stopping his talking.

"He needs to stay here until his attitude changes and he can resist the change when put under extreme anger. I don't want him leaving. I'm putting you in charge of his guards and anything that has to do with him. He's only staying here because his sister is my mate and she wants him. I personally hate his attitude and the fact that he wants to take my mate away." Garret walked away without another word. I turned to glare at him as I once mores struggled against my chains. I made it to a few inches away from his face before I was stopped by the intense pain and stretching of my limbs as they fought against the chains.

I didn't know what was in the chains, but I think it was a little bit of silver and that made them stronger than normal chains. I would have been free by now if they were normal chains. I hated that these wolves thought ahead. I also thought it was weird they put me in a cabin, but they lived in tents. I wasn't in the mood to ask either.
