Stranger's POV

Where was I? I had no clue, but I was in my human form. It felt so different. I looked around and saw only trees. I couldn't remember anything that had happened. I heard a twig snap and jerked my head around. It was only a deer.

"Who am I?" I asked myself out loud. I got up off the snowy ground, naked and not in the least bit cold. It was weird. I couldn't remember my mind, how I got where I was, and what had happened to make me forget all these things.

Why are you standing here when our mate is out there? A voice roared. I turned around, trying to find where it was coming from, but there was no one around me.

"Who are you?" I asked. The voice remained silent for a while. I went back to my musings. I was a man, alone in the middle of the woods with no memory or recollection of who I was. I was hearing things and I knew not why.

What is wrong with you? I am you, you imbecile. The voice made itself clear again. I groaned. It was then that I realized the voice was coming from my head. Great, I was a crazy man with no memory. You are not crazy. I will show you who you are. I have no clue how you forgot. You've been lying here for days healing. Just wait.

The voice went away and I waited. All of a sudden my vision was filled with memories. I closed my eyes and let them be seen.

I was walking down a path. I could hear a heartbeat I could smell the fear emanating from the man. I stalked behind him. I was a wolf, a predator of the night. The man didn't' see me coming. I launched out of the shadows and devoured my meal.

"This cannot be me." I argued, opening my eyes and gripping my hair in my hands in frustration. There was no way I was a wolf. It was impossible. Werewolves didn't exist in this world. I waited for the voice, but instead I got more images.

I could see the girl from the shadows of the trees. It was snowing and there wasn't a soul in sight. It was around midnight and I was hungry. I stalked the girl until the wind brought me her scent. I stopped dead in my tracks and changed into my human form. It had been a while since I had been with a woman. I would take this girl and no one would ever know. When I was done with her I would make her one of us and my mate.

The girl stopped walking, almost as if she sensed me. I took off after her and put her on the ground. She struggled and yelled at me, but I knew no one was around. I listened to her scream and it made my wolf howl within me. I claimed the virgin as mine.

I heard a sound and looked up. A boy was calling, but I was too lost in my wolf instincts to pay attention to what he was saying. I growled at him. He was bothering me in the middle of claiming my mate.

I launched myself at the boy, not really noticing the gun pointed at me. When I got close enough the gun went off and I bit into his skin. After that I fell over and played dead. The boy took my mate home with him and I took off into the night, planning on coming back after I healed.

I fell to the ground as all my memories started coming back. My name was Amos and I was the alpha of the pack in the far north. I had to find my mate. I had claimed her that night and felt a bond with her already. I could smell her scent even though it was over a couple days old. I couldn't believe I had slept so long, healing. It must have been since the bullet was so close to my heart.

I followed her scent to a cottage. I smelled the whole perimeter, but I could not find a fresh scent. I walked to the door and beat on it. A small old lady opened it and quickly covered her eyes.

Where are your clothes mister?" she asked me in shock. It was then I remembered I was naked. I rolled my eyes. I was used to it, but these humans were not.
