Morning broke and I was to assist the very same professor I had for Potion class, Professor Horace Slughorn. We made small talk as I organized the glass cabinets full of phials until bells chimed, announcing the commencement of class. "Miss Zeria, could you distribute the text books to the first years please?" Slughorn asked pointing to a cabinet. I nodded turning to retrieve the books and was approached by several boys asking if I needed help. A bit taken back by the kindness, a small smile lit my face and let the three I recognized distribute books with me. Each boy introduced himself with particular posture before taking a handful of books. Remus, Severus, and Sirius you three reek of mischief. I mused, Children are such odd creatures. Gladly, I thanked each one of the little eleven year olds and returned to Slughorn's side.

The next classes rushed by and in each one there was a certain group of boys that flirted with me. Some of them were harmless, but one seventh year student proved to be quite a problem, Steve Laughalot. The Slytherin Quidditch captain was a bit too forward with me not to mention I found him repulsive to look at. Already, I began developing punishments for naughty students and wrote them down in my little leather bound book. My personal favorite was cleaning out the stables, but I also thought venturing into the Dark Forest in search of herbs for Professor Slughorn was another good punishment.

After lunch, I had a free period to set up the books and cauldrons in preparation for the next group, sixth year students. While Slughorn lectured away, I sketched dragons in the yellow pages of my book waiting for this day to be over. I knew my introduction day was going to be boring, so I tried to not doze off. Sitting in on each of Slughorn's classes was a huge review of my seven years at Hogwarts. In a way, I enjoyed reminiscing about being a student, but I wished I had interacted more with other children. When I attended the school for the first time, I was so caught up in learning that my only real friend was my brother. I attempted to befriend others, but things never quite worked out; I always ended up scaring the witches and wizards I shared my thoughts with. Consequently, I chatted with the professors and being friends with a professor does not count.

"Miss Zeria?" Professor Slughorn's voice dragged me out of my nostalgia and I perked up. "Would you go around making sure the students are mixing the potion correctly?" Nodding, I stood up and went to the nearest table where there were four students, one of each house.

The Gryffindor girl would not accept my help when I told her she was too hasty and added the rhododendron petals too early. Thus, I checked on the Ravenclaw boy; he had executed things perfectly and I smiled walking over to a petit girl from Hufflepuff. "Ah look, you are almost there! Here, add newt tail and wait fifteen seconds before finishing with the rhododendron petals." The round face smiled at me and I wondered if I had looked like that when I was seventeen years old. Lastly, but not in the least, was the young man representing my house, Slytherin.

The potion was not even started and I pursed my lips. "Excuse me," When I looked up at the striking face, I gulped down a nervous feeling. Even in my heels, the student was slightly taller than me. The length of his white blond hair framed a sharp and commanding countenance. For a moment, I almost felt like I was the student.

"Lucius Malfoy." He replied staring back at me with his bright gray eyes.

"Well, Lucius; why have you not started?" I looked back down at the table and noticed someone had sabotaged his cauldron. "Hmm." My blue eyes shot over to the Gryffindor girl who was snickering. "Jezebel, you think it is funny to tamper with expensive equipment?"

The head of red hair shot up and I gave her a death glare.

"I expect to see you after school today in my office." I told her in a low voice, and my peripheral detected a smirk on Lucius' face.

Each of the other students at my table looked at each other with wide eyes. Promptly, I returned to the table with a new cauldron for Lucius and let him begin his work. I crossed my pale arms over my chest and watched the students with an unamused expression. Inside, I was gleefully praising myself for executing my first disciplinary action. Now, the students would know that this beauty had power and was not afraid to use it. A dark smirk crossed my lips when I saw Lucius's hands shaking nervously as he finished the potion.

The tall student stepped back from the table awaiting my judgment. Carefully, I scrutinized Lucius's work and smiled. "Mr. Malfoy," I paused and tilted my head to the side.

"Did I do something wrong?" He asked a bit anxiously. It gave me a weird sense of pleasure to see the anxiety of the young man.

"I might have to see you after school as well." My response was but a whisper that only he could hear as I walked away to inspect other tables.
