"The choices you make now, the people you surround yourself with, they all have the potential to affect your life, even who you are, forever."

"How did you know that this was gonna help me?" I asked the girls.

"Who wouldn't enjoy this?" Grace replied, her arms were folded to rest her head on her hands as we both were laying down on our backs on the green grass, staring at the blue clear sky. We were all sitting the same position as Grace, staring at the sky too.

I found them pounding on my door earlier this morning, telling me that they're gonna take me somewhere and they literally dragged me into this high hill that can make you see the whole city from there. I was speechless as to how the view was perfect.

"Imagine this at night, it would look like heaven!" I imagined it as I said, the sight of stars and that feeling of fresh air hitting my skin and moving my hair a little..it was something I'd die to feel and see. I'm gonna call this my spot from now on. I will never leave this place.

"Even better." They all agreed.

"We should make this place ours." I said.

"Well, it's technically ours since we didn't see anyone here before." Candice replied. Before?

"You've been here before?" I asked, clearly confused.

"Yeah, so many times I lost count but the view never get boring." Scar replied.

"You've been here without me?" I pulled my upper part up to look at them properly. Where was I those 'so many times'?

"Don't turn a drama queen now, some days when we finish work we just come here and chill for a while and then leave, it's not that big of a deal." Grace replied.

"I was thinking to take Nathan here some day, it would be fun." She said, completely changing the subject. Nathan is Scar's boyfriend and yes, she does have a boyfriend.

"I almost forgot you had a boyfriend." I snorted, telling the truth. She never talks about him or even go out with him, I wasn't sure if they were even still together or not.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"You know, he doesn't call you, he doesn't ask you out, you don't even talk about him and I don't remember when's the last time I actually saw him." Scar was always so secretive about anything really, she was a privet person who doesn't like to share anything with anyone and I don't know why though but she's been like that since the first day I met her.

"Well, we don't have time to do any of this since we both have our jobs and he need the money, we don't even have to do any of this to be in a relationship, the appearances doesn't matter." She explained as I rested my body on the grass again.

"How do you even manage to do that? When I was with Jack I couldn't stay a day apart from him, I'd always call him to check up on him or ask to meet up, I couldn't stay away that's why I find it weird." I didn't want to remember Jack or any of his memories and I've got nothing else to compare it to so I had to talk about him.

"But you know where that got you." Grace decided to interfere in the conversation.

"Yeah, not all of us are clingy like that, Jade." Scar said, agreeing with her. I couldn't help but feel offended. Is she calling me  clingy now?

I snorted, "I'm not clingy! Right guys?" There was a complete silence.

"Guys?" I repeated, sitting straight again.
