How I got into tokusatsu

We gotta go back, WAYYYYYY back into 2008 -2009. I was six years old around that time.

I was fan of Bakugan back then, and I saw that there was a japanese version of it. So I was listening to one of the theme songs and one video thumbnail I see was power rangers mystic force but with a japanese guy there (Gold ranger, otherwise known as the Solaris Knight). I watched it, and I was like OMG OMG IT'S POWER RANGERS!!!! So that started everything. I'm not sure when, but I found out that there was an upcoming season that Power Rangers didn't do. It was Shinkenger (nah it wasn't Go-Onger) and I was blown away that Japan has a power rangers season with samurai and stuff. In fact, when Power Rangers Samurai actually came out, I spoiled everything from Shinkenger. No one cared.

So I was watching Shinkenger when I saw Kamen Rider Decade. I was like "oh wow that's cool" and I watched the first episode of that too. A year later I found Ultraman by watching those atsukife3 videos. (BTW I had ultraman PJs, but they were bootleg like. If you wanna know what ultramen were on the PJ's, they were Tiga and Gaia).

Oh yeah even before I found super sentai I was watching Tomica Hero rescue fire. (mostly the video where it shows off the new toys) I was also amused with Ryukendo as well.

And then in 2016 I got hooked onto GARO after seeing the transformation stuff. I'm hiatusing on watching it cuz Kyuranger and other stuff.

So yeah. How did you get into Tokusatsu?
