So the preview for the opening theme for Ultraman Taiga is out
I swear, this song sounds really familiar. Mainly the beginning part.
I like the theme. Doesn't feel Taiga-ish. It feels like something you hear in a Super Sentai show. Maybe a Kamen Rider theme. Actually it can fit the main Toku trio. So yeah. The song is pretty good.
I'll give it a full analysis when the opening sequence comes out.
The opening is sung by Takuma Terishima, who is also the voice for the titular character Ultraman Taiga.
I actually his heard voice before as Apollo in Genesis of Aquarion. I was shocked that Taiga and Apollo shared the same voice actor because he looks way different compared to his 2005 self.
And in case if you think that Terishima is the first artist to also voice the opening theme of an Ultraman theme, you're wrong.
It was Take Me Higher as Hiroshi Nagano was not only the voice for Ultraman Tiga, but also one of the members for the J-Pop band V6.
It was later succeeded by Geed no Akashi as Tatsuomi Hamada, who played Riku and Ultraman Geed, was one of the artists for the opening theme for Geed.
Well, we will wait for July when Taiga airs.
