when u haven't thought about this au in like 10+ years and have to reread the first part of it

Link drove to Dorephan's Aquarium, kind of slowly cause he cant remember where it was. Sidon and him had agreed to meet on a Saturday when they both didn't have classes. Link had gotten Revali to make him look nice because Link, and he quotes from Revali himself, 'cant dress himself for shit'.

Revali had put Link in a tight pair of jeans (Link didn't know where he got these even, and frankly, he didn't want to know), a white button up with a black blazer  and these boots he pulled out of nowhere. Revali also put Links hair in a braid, but he didn't really care about that.

Link looked at the directions Sidon had given him, looking back up to see where it was. He really should have remembered how to get there, but he couldn't. Link hadn't been to Dorephan's Aquarium since middle school. He spotted Sidon in front of it, waving and smiling at him and pulling into a spot.

Sidon was wearing a red blazer, with red dress pants. Link could see his hair was just up in a ponytail, like usual, swinging. He went over to Sidon, smiling up at him.

"Hello, my friend! I'm glad you found your way!" Sidon smiled down at him, holding his arms out for a hug.

"Hi, Sidon." Link hugged Sidon, yelping when he was picked up by Sidon and hugged tightly. Link just wrapped his arms around Sidon's shoulders while he was up there. He smelled Sidons hair subtly, it smelled good, before he hit Sidons back gently.

"Ah, sorry. I got a little excited. Lets go in!" Sidon put Link down, holding out his arm for Link and Link just linked (I'm sorry I had to) his arm with Sidons.

"Its alright." Link just smiled up at him, basically being pulled into the aquarium by Sidon.

Well, the visit had been mostly nice. Link saw Mipha, but just waved at her since he was there with her brother. Now they were looking at the shark tanks, which were apparently the main attraction. But no one was in there except for them. Link just looked up at Sidon, not really listening to what he was saying and just admiring the way he looked in the aquarium.

"Isn't that cool?!" Sidon asked suddenly, looking down at Link and getting a nod to whatever he had been talking about. Link didn't really know what he was talking about, but he was sure it was exciting.

Link smiled at Sidon, noticing he got closer to him. Sidon put his hand on Links cheek, rubbing his cheek bone gently. Sidon almost pulled away when he realized what he was doing, but Link put his hand over his. Sidon blinked a little, but didn't pull his hand away a second time.

He rubbed Links bottom lip, getting closer until Link could feel his breath on his face. The colors in Sidon's eyes were apparent when they were this close. He rubbed Links lip again, before he leaned forward and kissed Link.

Link put his arms around Sidon's neck, feeling Sidon's other hand on his waist. He kissed Sidon back, feeling his hand start curl around Links hair. He didn't try to remove the braid, just putting his hand where it started. Link touched the sides of Sidons neck with his hands, touching his hair too.

Sidon pulled away, smiling at Link and lifting him. He laughed, making Link smile and hug him.

Well, that went better than he expected it to.
