First Date

Blue Agate's POV:
"Lapis listen!", I yelled at my stubborn daughter. "No!", Lapis fought back. "You are not going anywhere​with that...girl", I screamed at her. "But mom", she pleaded. "She's a...", I began. "So am I", Lapis cried. "Why didn't you tell me?", I joined her in tears. "Look at how you're reacting to a stranger's choice", she sobbed. "I want you to tell me about you even if you think I won't like it. I'm your mom. I'm here for you", I hugged my daughter. "So Peri is your boyfriend", Aquamarine ran up to Lapis. "What do you want for dinner tonight?", I bent over in front of Aqua. "Spegetti", she jumped for joy. "Okay goofball", I smiled down at her. I looked at Lapis not sure what to do, so I decided I'd let her make the choice, "Go have fun, Lapis." She gave me a hug, "Thank you mom." "I'm your mom, but you can make your own choices", I kissed her on the check as Aquamarine hugged her. "Bye, Lapis", Lapis bent over so she could hug Aqua back and kiss her on the forehead. "Here Lapis", I tossed her fifty dollars. "What's this for mom?", she asked. "Go get a nice outfit for your first date", I smiled. "Can I come too?", Aquamarine's eyes lit up. "What do you say Ms. Lazuli? Your choice", I looked at my older daughter realizing she was becoming a women. "Sure", she giggle picking up her sister. "Bye mother", she waved. "Bye mommy", Aquamarine called blowing me kisses.

Lapis Lazuli's POV:
"What color should I choose?", I looked at my little sister. "Aqua", she smiled "because I don't want you to forget who you really love most on your date." "Ha ha, okay", I pulled into the parking lot of the dress shop. "Do you like this one", I asked stepping out of the dressing room. "Hm, let me think", she smiled mosteviously "It needs more glitter." I tried on another dress. "Do you like this dress?", I asked again. "No", she answered "I love it!". I paid for the dress and walked hand and hand with my sister back to our house. "You got an hour before you have to leave, Lapis", mom told me. "Would you like for me to do your hair", she smiled. "Yes please", I was so exited she is super good at doing hair. "And I can paint your nails", Aquamarine added with a smile. "Why not", I smiled back. In and hour I had the most beautiful hair I've seen in my life, an elegant dress, and some questionable nails. I grabbed my blue purse and phone then gave my mom and sister hugs good-bye. "Let's go make spegetti!", Aqua jumped up and down looking up at my mom. I silently laughed to myself walking out the door. I unclipped the necklace I was wearing and set it in my purse. I sat in front of Funland for five minutes waiting for Peridot. "Sorry", I heard a voice pulling me away from my social media. "Hey, Peridot", I hugged her. "Is this a...a um...", she started hesitantly. "It's a date", I blushed and looked down at the ground. "Your dress is pretty", Peridot blushed even darker than me. "Thanks, my sister picked it", I laughed looking at Peridot's beautiful green glimmering eyes. "I have something for you", I reached into my purse pulling out Peridot's yellow diamond necklace. "Thank you so much, now my mom might not kill me", she grabbed the chain and gently picked up the necklace putting it in her pocket. Wow Peridot looks so pretty with her new outfit on. "I like you outfit", I stared at the girl in front of me. "Jasper helped me pick it, he felt bad about hurting you", she told me. I looked at my wrist and thought about Jasper. "Peridot!", I heard a child yell. "Steven", she smiled at him. "Hi, Steven", I looked at him too. Steven knew almost everyone in Beach City and and almost all their friends. "Hey Lapis", Steven looked at me. "Yo P-Dot", Amethyst walked up behind Steven "ugh, you." "Hey, Lapis you want to come hang out with the shorty squad", I was shocked he asked, most people have told me I was tall. I looked at Peridot who shugged then at Amethyst, "no thank you, Steven", I answered politely. "Good", Amethyst stuck her tongue​ out at Peridot and me. "Where do you want to go?", I asked then realized Peridot's eyes were somewhere else. I saw a green alien with black eyes and a red bow tie. "Do you want to play the game for the alien?", I looked down I Peridot. "Yes", she said excitedly looking back up at me. She threw all the rings, but only one landed on a bottle. "Here you go", Mr. Smiley handed her a finger puppet. "Um, excuse me you're wrong. I'm supposed to win that one", Peridot pointed to the largest toy. "That one's ten rings", he too pointed at the alien toy. Peridot walked away. "I'll be right there", I told her paying for more rings. I got ten rings so I got the alien for Peridot. "Here Peri", I said handing the toy to her she took it then looked at me. "Dot", I finished her name blushing holding the back of my neck. "What did your mom say when you told her you were coming here with me?", Peridot's face was concerned. "She loved me no matter what", I held her hand. "That's nice", Peridot's eyes filled with tears. "What did your mom say?", I looked at her. "She didn't really say anything", she srugged. We walked around for a while talking about everything from school to TV shows and comic books. "I'm going to get some cotton candy, do you want some?", Peridot asked me. "Sure", I sat on a bench​ behind us. After about a minute she sat beside me "Do you want me to walk you home? It's already past midnight", she looked at me. "Where are you even staying tonight?", I looked back at her. "My car", she looked down. "You can probably spend the night", I hoped this was true. "Hey, Steven and Amethyst do y'all want to come here together some time next week?", I called out to them. "Sure, Lapis", Steven smiled at Amethyst. "Naw", Amethyst answered. Peridot and I walked back to my house and talked the whole way. "Peri! Peri!", Aquamarine yelled with her eyes filled with joy as we came to the door. "Peridot would you like to come in?", My mother asked her. "Sure Mrs. Agate", she smiled at my mom "thank you so much." Peridot, Aquamarine, and I sat on the couch watching movie after movie. After five movies I looked over to see Peridot asleep on the couch. I laughed and brought her a blanket. "Mom, can Peridot spend the night again", I asked sheepishly. "Why?", she looked at me and I pointed at Peridot on the couch. "Okay, you should go get some sleep too", she kissed me on the forehead. I picked up Aquamarine who was also asleep. "Goodnight Mom", I called carrying Aqua to her room. I tucked her in then carried Peridot to my room. I told my mom Peridot was sleeping in my room so my sister and I played dress up then did eachother's hair and makeup. When Aquamarine fell asleep I took the princess dress off from over her pajamas and cleaned the makeup of her face. I took a shower and got ready to go to bed then laid by Aqua and went to sleep. "Good night girls", mom said not realizing we were already fast asleep.
