Author's note: I promose this isn't going to be all about theater; I love theater and of course two of my favorite characters are very theatrical.
Jammie's POV:
"Mrs. Sardonyx I handed out all the flyers for Theater class," I smiled walking into my (favorite) teacher's empty classroom.
"Good job, sweetheart," she walked over and hugged me. "I can't wait to meet the new theater kids," I said enthusiastically as she released me from her arms.
Lapis Lazuli's POV:
"Don't you just love history?" my teacher asked with stars in his eyes.
"No" I mumble where he couldn't hear me. I started to draw leaves in my spiral. I want to be at home; I don't like it here, I feel trapped.
"Blah blah blah. Here's some work to do so you can waist your lives," the teacher said, well not in those exact words, but something along those lines. I don't get why Peridot loves school so much. "Lazuli, are you listening?" my teacher called and caused my train of thought to come to a halt.
"Yes, sir," I responded hastily closing my journal and hiding it under the dest.
"Okay," he turned back to the board. "And then the...," he began to say before he was cut off by the bell. I got up and left the class. "Ma'am, I haven't finished," the teacher told me.
"The bell rang," I returned putting ear buds in. A few other kids got up but the rest of them kind of just looked at me in disgust. "Oh, and sir," I started.
"Yes?" He asked.
"I don't like this class, so yeah," I said grabbing the door handle and leaving the classroom.
"Hey, brat," Jaspet greeted.
"Hey, cheeto puff?" I replied.
"You're so mean," he wined on a joking tone.
"Where's Peridot?" I asked walking towards my locker as Jasper followed.
"She's in English class," Jasper said as he stopped at my side when arrived at my locker. "How was the world's worst class with the devil as the teacher?" Jasper teased me.
"It was crappy and I learned nothing. How was class with Mrs. Rose?" I answered.
"I still hate her; I don't get why everyone likes her," he rolled his eyes.
"She's sweet," I said in a fake voice as if 'sweet' were a compliment. We laughed before I saw Peridot. "Bye-bye, Jaz," I said in the same voice as before then stuck my tounge out at him. I only took a few steps away though.
"Hi, Peridot," I said giving her a hug.
"Hello, Lapis," she responded placing one arm around my back. When we let go of eachother she smiled as if she wanted to tell me something.
"What's up, Peri?" I asked her.
"I got a one hundred percent on my English test," she said excitedly. She's so cute.
"Cool," I responded not quite caring. "Our next class is science, right?" I asked.
"Yeah. Oh crap, I forgot we had a presentation today," she said in frustration.
"It's okay, we can present together. I have notecards for each section," I looked at her.
"Are you sure?" Peridot asked me.
"Of course. We were allowed to work in groups. The teacher won't know you forgot your's," I reassured her.
"Okay, thanks," she said hugging me before walking to her locker to get her supplies for science.
"Bro, I asked you for help on homework and you siad no," Jasper wined.
"You asked me to write a four-hundred word essay over a book you only read two pages of," I agrued.
"I don't like reading; you do, it seemed fare," Jasper replied. I simply laughed at what he had said. "What?" he asked looking at me.
"Does that actually sound fare to you?" I asked jokingly but still as a question to be answered.
"Well, yes, kind of," Jasper shrugged.
"Okay, class starts in two minutes so I'm going to go," I told him then walked past Peridot's locker on the way to class so that we could make our way through the hall together.
"I just realized that theater thingie is today right after school," Peridot informed me as she looked in my direction.
"We have to pick up Aquamarine though," I said with a hint of sadness in my voice since I kind of wanted to go.
"Maybe I can get her and once I get back to the school, you can tell me what's going on," Peridot offered.
"Where will she stay?" I asked.
"I can ask miss Sardonyx if she can stay, while we're at lunch," Peridot answered.
"Okay," I smiled looking down at Peridot as she opened the door of the science classroom. We took our seats across the room from eachother.
"Our first presentation will be given by Peridot Diamond," the teacher annouced.
"Actually Lapis and I wanted to do the presentation together," Peridot responded awkwardly.
"Present away then," she responded with a smile.
"Hello, class," I began once we were infront of the white board. After about five to ten minutes Peri and I went back to our seats.
"Carnilian Pink," the teacher called. Wait, does Jasper have a sister?
"Okay, class, if you did not present today, be prepared to tomorrow or some time this week," our teacher annouced before the bell rang.
"Have a good day," Mrs. Rose smiled as we left.
"You too," some suck-up said. Nevermind it was Pearl.
Peridot's POV:
"Lunch," I heard Amethyst say with much glee in her voice.
"Hey, Ame, I'm sorry," I told her but before either of us could say anything else she hugged me.
"Thanks, Peri," she smiled releasing me.
"Do you and Lapis want to ait with us at lunch?" she asked. I told her yes so because I wanted Lapis and Amethyst to get along. Once I caught back up to Lapis I told hwr about what had just happened.Amethyst's POV:
I don't know what Peridot seea in the 'water witch' but I'm glad she's happy. "Hey, guys, this is Carnilian, she's Jasper's sister," I smiled at Peri and Lapis as they came towards our table.
"Oh, goodness," I heard Peridot sigh under her breathe.
