Good Morning

Lapis Lazuli's POV:
"Good morning sleepy head", I poke Peridot. "Shut up, Pearl", she said by default. "Pearl? Pearl that goes to school with us?", I asked. "Yellow Pearl", she sat up "sorry." "Girls, it's time for breakfast", mom called to us. "I found a green shirt, Peridot", I announced from my closet. "Thanks, Lazuli", she took the shirt. "Sorry,I only have mid-drifts", I looked down at her. She caught me staring at her then blushed. "I'm going to go fix my hair", I pointed stepped into the hall "You can change in my room." "Okay", she said whilst closing the door. I brushed my hair while staring blankly into the mirror as I started to put gel in my hair all I could think about was Peridot. I walked out of the bathroom and saw Peridot in the hall, she looked so beautiful. We both stood there staring at eachother for what felt like forever. "Mommy said to eat", Aquamarine ran up the stairs Peridot and I blushed and burst out laughing. "Peridot, this is my sister Aquamarine", I said giving Aqua a hug. "Call me Aqua", she smiled from ear to ear "people say that because my name is kind of long." "That's an awesome name, Aquamarine", Peridot stretched out her arms and yawned. We walked down the stairs Aquamarine holding our hands and talking about something. "So do you like the school?", I asked Peridot. "I like the school, but you're probably the only not annoying person", she looked over to my mother. "Good morning. Ms. Diamond . How did you sleep?", my mother asked Peridot. "I sleep better than usual, thank you for letting me spend the nigh Mrs. Agate", Peridot answered. "Why did you chose to spend the night here?", my mom asked Peridot. "My girlfriend and I just broke up", she realized what she said then hid her face. "Girlfriend!", mother was shocked. "We have to go to school", I rushed out grabbing my backpack. She looked at me ,"I'm sorry" I blushed when she said this. "Do you want to meet me at Funland tonight after school?", I asked her knowing we had just meet, but liking her anyways. "Sure", she smiled getting in her car.

Peridot POV:
Did Lazuli just ask me on a date? I looked at her to ask ,but she blushed and looked away. I sat down and waved as the bus drove away. Is Amethyst on the bus? No. I guess I'll go pick her up. "Amethyst", I knocked on her door. "There in a sec", it annoyed me how grammatically incorrect she was. "Do you need a ride?", I asked. "Yes, Peri", she rolled her eyes. "Don't roll your eyes at me, it's your fault you haven't gotten you driver's license!", I scolded. "Whatever", she rolled her eyes again. "Okay, do you want a doughnut?", I asked offering her the doughnut I bought on the way to her house. "Thanks", she grabbed the food from my hand. The car ride was five minutes of awkward. "Hey, Jasper", Amy waved. She's dealing with the break up better than I though she would seeing as how she is so immature. "Thanks for the ride, nerd", she giggled teasing me. "What is nerd?", I thought out loud to myself. "You", I heard a voice behind me and turned to see Lazuli. I opened my door and hugged her she blushed then stood there not moving for a moment. I grabbed my keys, "We should get inside", I broke the silence. "Of course", she sounded embarrassed. My teacher was saying something and me always following every rule knew I should be listening, but my mind was lost in the ocean along side Lazuli. I like her, I hope she'll like me back. Did she ask me on a date I hope so, but also hope not. What if I embarrass myself. The class seemed to pass quickly as I heard the bell cut of my train of thought. I have a date!
