Lapis Lazuli's POV:
Peridot is so adorable, she's saying every word in sync with the television. "Peridot?", I looked over at her. "What is it, Lapis?", she stretched out her arms because we had been sitting still for two hours. "How many times have you watched this episode?", I asked. "Um", she blushed then looked at the television and back at me "hundreds of times, I lost count of how many times a watched it", she blushed quite a bit. I put my head on her shoulder and my arm on the back of the couch behind her as she began to say something about Percy and Peir. "Doesn't Paulette like Percy?", I giggled picking my head up off her shoulder. "Isn't Peir better?", Peridot answered my question with another question. "Yeah, I guess you're right", I smiled at her and I felt another pair of lips meet mine. I jumped a little bit causing her to pull away. "I'm sorry", she looked down and blushed darker than the Pearl in our class ever could, I beat she'd have some salty blue Skittles to say right now. "It's okay", I looked her straight in her bright green eyes. "So do you want breakfast?", Peridot's eyes now stared into mine, we sat in complete silence lost in each other's eyes. "Sure", I finally answered after what felt like forever "Do you know how to cook?". "I don't know how to preheat an oven, use an oven in general, use a toaster, start a microwave, or anything", she admitted. "Really?", I hoped she wasn't serious. "Yellow Pearl normally makes food or I just go buy something", she shrugged. "Well, I'm not Pearl, but I can make some eggs and bacon if you would like something done quickly", I offered standing up. "Okay, Lapis", she stood up as well. "Hey Peridot, do you have any homework to do over the weekend?", I realized it was already Sunday. "No", she walked up behind me. "Do you go to church?", I looked down at her. "No", she looked shocked that I even asked her. "Well, do you want to come with me?", I smiled down at her. "Heck no! They'd judge me there!", Peridot had fear in her eyes. "You've got it all wrong, Peridot. Church is the one place where noone judge you", I handed her a plate, "and even if they do, it doesn't make me think any different of you" "Really?", she looked so happy to hear what I had told her. "Yep. So do you want to come with me?", I grabbed my plate. "Sure. When does it start?", she was so excited. "I normally go to the three o'clock service", we walked back to her living room. Peridot and I sat down and started to eat. "Thank you for cooking, Lapis", Peridot smiled at me. "You're welcome", I gave her a small kiss on the check and we both blushed. "You should get dressed for church", I told Peridot looking at her pajamas and taking our plates to the kitchen. "Peri, you need dish soap", I yelled disgusted that she didn't have any. "Oh, I can get some today", she walked out in a green lace shirt and jean shorts. "We can get some on the way back from church", I was so happy because was coming to church with me. "Okay", she said walking out of her room as I walked towards her room, so I could change into my church clothes. "You look beautiful, Lapis", Peridot blushed. "Should I wear something a bit fancier?", Peridot looked down at her outfit. "No, you look just fine. I'm so excited you're coming with me, I can't wait for everyone to meet you!", I couldn't help but smile at her. "Oh wait I forget something", Peridot ran to her room and I walked behind her. She clipped the necklace I gave her around her neck the told me to close my eyes. I felt a metal chain touch my skin "You can open your eyes now", Peri clapped. "Peridot, I can't keep this!", I exclaimed looking at the yellow diamond at the center of the chain she had clipped around my neck. "It suits you better than it even did me", Peridot blushed. "You fit me better the than Paulette fits Percy", I hugged her. "That's because Peir fits Percy better", Peridot said then continued to talk about Percy and Peir. I cut off her rant by returning the kiss she had given me earlier this morning. "I love you, Lapis Lazuli", Peri's eyes looked into mine. "I know, you told me after you stalked me in my sleep", I laughed looking at her. "Sorry", she blushed. "So why did Jasper help you get ready for our...", I stopped before finishing my sentence. "Date?", Peridot completed what I was saying. "Yeah, yeah our date", I blushed. "He felt bad that he hurt you, or at least that's what he told me", Peri shrugged. We talked and talked untill it was time to leave. "Are you ready to go?", I asked looking at her and I giggled a little bit when I saw how joyful the look on her face was.
