Sleepover

Lapis Lazuli's POV:
"Hey sissy is this your boyfriend", my annoying little sister Aquamarine teased as Peridot and I walked into the house. "I'm a girl you clod!", Peridot said angrily. "Hello! Mrs. Diamond, I work for one of your mother's associate​s Mrs. Blue. Let me tell you, your mom is great!", my mom welcomed Peridot with a wide smile. "You must be Blue Agate'', she smiled, "Sorry Mrs. Agate." "No need to apologise", my mother told Peridot. "As much as I'm sure Peridot, I'm sorry Mrs. Diamond is enjoying this lovely conversation. Her and I have allot of homework to do tonight", I lied to my mother. "Okay sweetheart", she hugged me. "Well you be staying for dinner, my Diamond?", my mom asked Peridot. "Can she stay the night?", I asked. "I'd be honored", my mom clapped. I showed Peridot to my room she looked around at everything. "I feel a theme", she said sitting in front of one of my fish tanks. "What can I say, I love the ocean", I told her as I brought her a bean bag chair covered with a green blanket I got from downstairs. "Sorry", she stood up "Hey, why did you tell your mom we had allot of homework?". "So we can start our homework later", I smiled opening my window and grabbing onto a handle. "What are you doing Lazuli?", Peridot's voice quivered as she asked. "Are you scared of heights?", I teased then jumped. "Ahh", I screamed "Peridot!". Peridot too jumped I laughed at her. "Look down", I called to her. "It's kind of nice", Peridot smiled. "Jump!", I yelled letting go. Splash! "How do you not love the ocean?", I cheered popping my head out of the water. "Are you crazy Lazuli!", Peridot yelled at me "my clothes are ruined also yeah I'm afraid of heights." "Are you saying you don't like it", I was confused. "I leave flying for birds!", she was very mad at me. I splashed her with the water then dove under, so she wouldn't splash me back. I swam between her legs and picked her up on my shoulders she giggled a little looking at her new necklace I had given her. "What is it?", I asked honestly blushing a bit. "I've never really had this much...fun", she teared up. "What do you mean?", I asked. "I'm Peridot Diamond, daughter of Yellow Diamond I spent my time working for my mom and learning", she straightened her back fixing her hair from jumping in. "Ha", I laughed "You fixed your hair yet your hair is still is in the shape of a triangle." She dunked her head under the water her hair straightened to just a few inches below her shoulder. She looks so different, I guess I haven't known her that long so it wasn't a big deal if she looked different. "What is it?", She asked. "You look different", I said shocked she noticed I was even distracted. "You've known me for a day, Lazuli", she smirked. "Your loss", I smiled swimming closer to her. I unhooked the the zipline's handles, "We should head back the back to my house is longer", I said grabbing Peridot's hand and swimming. She blushed a bit "Do you need some ice? I think your face might be on fire", I joked. She blushed a darker shade of red. "I can buy you some new clothes if you want", I offered. "I'm good", she shyly said. "You want to be naked! No wonder you were blushing", I giggled. "I mean I don't mind wet clothes, you clod", she explained. "So you're used to wet clothes, are you a pant wetter?", I giggled even more. "No! Are you a clod", she raised a fist. "Yep", I fist bumped her and skipped ahead a few feet. When we got back my mom directed Peridot to the shower. "She's a mess, you need to be more mature!", mom yelled at me. "But mom...", I started before being cut off, "butts are for sitting!". I ran up the stares to my closet, "Peridot are you okay with blue pajamas?", I yelled to her from across the hall. "Sure", she answered. "Also", I added "I only have mid-drifts." We both laughed when she walked out. "You look good in a mid-drift", I looked at the blonde standing in front of me she blushed when she heard me and so did I once I realized what had said. I turned as quickly as I could to hide my red face then walked back to my room. I walked to the bathroom to take a shower and saw Peridot still standing in the same spot. "Earth to Peridot", I chuckled. "I like Earth", she said awkwardly still staring​ wall "oh, hey Lazuli! I didn't see you there." "Do you mind moving?", I asked. "Of course not", she quickly stepped away then whispered, "my Diamond."
