11. Drunk and confused

I look up in the sky, with each cloud passing by.
Soon it will be dusk and the sun will covered in a thick musk.
Darkness surrounds with shadows lurking on the ground
Sky is sad as sun is leaving soon.
But it still smiles because it's meeting the moon.

The rest of the day passed with work and by lunch time all my work was done. Shirly came to my office to offer me lunch with her. I agreed, anyway i don't know anyone here and i'm not busy. We went in the cafeteria and she went to the table were a man was sitting. He was tall blonde and a good looking guy wearing spectacles but it suited his grey eyes. He waved toward shirly. Okay they know each other. We reached the table and the man stood up seeing us.

Shirly gave him a hug and turned towards me.

"Aanya, this is kevin, my fiancé and kev its Aanya my new friend" Shirly motioned towards me.

Friend, that's new. I have never had many friends and beside ashley no one close but i can be friends. Shirly is quite approachable and easy to talk. We can be friends.

"Hey Aanya, nice to meet shirly's beautiful friend" kevin said with a wink and we shook hands.

We sat for the lunch. They both look good with each other. A very beautiful couple.

"My friends call me ana, and both include in that category now" i smiled at the couple.

We ordered our lunch and it arrived soon. We talked alot about my college, and fun stuffs, kevin told me about the pranks he played on shirly. I even asked them about how they met and their love story. Kevin told me about his friends wedding and him being best man and he found shirly there, she was bride's cousin and how he instantly fell in love with her and he knew she is the one but she didn't paid any attention on him, so he use to irritate her by his pranks.

"I courted her till six months after the wedding, i thought she will never say yes to me" kevin said smiling at shirly and was blushing red.

"If it were up to me you would have courted for a year but my stupid heart fell for your stupid pranks" shirly teased him.

"You were completely out of my league but I can be very persuasive" kevin replied.

I doubt that, kevin is handome. I hardly can assume anyone rejecting him.

"That's beautiful, when are you guys getting married?" I asked.

Both hand in hands saw each other and then towards me.

"We are lil busy now, we are thinking of it soon somewhere in next year" shirly replied.

"If it was up to me, we would have eloped and were married by now but she wants everything to be perfect on her big day" kevin told.

We talked for little while and then kevin stood to return. He worked in another company but came here only to meet shirly. Oh god, its so lovely to have some one to love you this much.

"Nice to meet you Ana" he gave me a hug. It was comfortable and brotherly. I never thought i would found freinds this early.

He kissed shirly and left. Shirly and I finished our lunch and went back to our work. A thought of going by jensen's office and asking him what he wants or is he alright crossed my mind but as fast it came that instantly i ignored the thought. If he needs something then he will call, i dont have to think much.
