Jensen' POV

Past couple of days were tiring. I had drowned myself in work. All I want is my life just to be normal and after I had my revenge i thought i would be chilling somewhere drinking and enjoying my victory. But it didn't seem that way, once i recall how things have went.

when Peter informed that he would be retiring soon beacause he was tired of our loss of communication and particularly my ignorance. We are not close like a father son. I don't hate him but I definately can't stand him let alone talk to him.

He thought his early retirement and appointing me CEO will bring us closer. I had been working with him sometime in the past just helping him in some matter and ignoring him most of the time. I do have my own company and don't need peter's company but I can't miss the chance it gave me.

When in the office while everyone was congratulating me for becoming their boss, oh god save me the trouble. I could only care less.

I heard a familiar voice behind me.
"Congratulation son, i hope you will run this place far better than me son." Peter said.

"You can place a bet on that" i casually replied.

"I hope it will be beginning of something new son" he added.

" Me too" i smiled. It will be beginning of my peaceful life.

"Jensen" the voice i'll never forget even in my dreams. The voice I've loathed my entire life. The sole reason of my misery. I turned to find him.

Patrick James

He was smiling. I swear i would have mudered him on that instance. How dare he. Smiling all the way from heart pretending like i don't know. He shows he is such a gentlemam and would even die for dad, and all he care about money, that snake.

He came forward to greet me with a glass of champagne in his hand. "so happy for you son, finally this idiot had did something right" he patted on peter's shoulder. Such a good friend peter have, what's the need of enemy then.

"Yeah well, will see that how long you'll feel that way" i remarked and turned around to make myself a drink. If i have to around anywhere near this snake I've to be drunk enough.

I poured myself a drink and there my dad asking for everyone's attention.

"I have been here as long as I can remember and now I'm so proud that my son takes my place" he inclined his glass of champagne towards my direction. I did the same.

"With my bestfriend and loyal manager as the new VP of the company by his side" his eyes were in the direction of that poisonous snake.

"Patrick james will be the new vice president of white corporation" he announced and the surrounding filled with applause.

No way I'm letting that happen. That son of a bitch has ruined my life and i'm not letting him get away with that anymore.

"Not so soon peter" i interrupted the cheers. Every eyes in the office were on me. Patrick eyes were stuck on me or on my next move. I saw guilt in his eyes and a promise maybe. But i think it's too late for that.

"Why do you want him to be VP dad when he already has money like owner of the company" i added.

Everyone was shocked. Even patrick.
There were whispers everywhere and looks filled with question.

"What are you saying son?" Peter asked in a shocking tone.

"I'm saying that patrick here has money more than a manger could have in his 20 lifetimes in his account"
