yes...the final chapter is upon us...this has been such a fun book to write from start to end and the sequel will be too! thank you all and especially @.parade (on q) for literally becoming my friend as i wrote this book bc you're actually so cool and stuff

Frank's eyelids fluttered open, expecting to see sunlight or some sort of natural light but his eyes only met darkness. He blinked once more, almost confused before making a tired mumble and closing his eyes, shuffling backwards into the comfortable body of Gerard Way. His breath came out his mouth slowly, daintily. He curled up tighter and shifted before fully turning around to face the handsome male behind him and looked up.

"Hey, hey Gee? Are you up?" Frank asked softly, face resting against Gerard's collar bone and lips tickling Gerard's pale skin as he spoke. He fit snugly, one hand resting on Gee to hold himself secure against him. They were pressed together, not tightly but comfortably. Perfectly.

"Hnngh..? Yea...I'm up..." Gerard mumbled into Frank's raven hair and chuckled a little, shifting against Frank's and his grip tightening so he could move closer then loosening once he was in a better position.

"Oh...Okay. I just woke up." Frank nodded, hugging Gerard and hiding himself in Gerard's body, it made him realize that he actually was so much smaller than Gerard and so much tinier despite their heights only have a few inches in difference.

It almost reminded him of their conversations when they met, a blush worked it's way onto Frank's face for the hundredth time that day or night as he thought back onto their early conversations how flirty he'd been to Gerard and how flirty Gerard had been back.

He never thought he would have met Gerard.

He certainly never thought he'd be sharing a bed with him.

And he most certainly never thought he'd be this close to Gerard.

But he liked it, he liked it a lot. Because he liked Gerard, he liked Gerard a lot and Gerard made him feel pretty, made him feel valued and worth something in someone's eyes and in a sense, made Frank feel like more than a friend.

"Hey, Gee..." Frank said again after the long silence, looking up and trying to find Gerard's face, faintly being able to make out his gorgeous features looking down at him and smiling gently.

"Yes, Frankie?"

Frank hesitates before speaking, building up rare courage before blurting out his words.

"I think you're the most beautiful person in the world. And I really like you. Thank you for being my friend and being so important to me and making me feel important to someone whilst making me really happy at the same time." Frank said softly before hiding his face into Gerard's torso and cuddling away, awaiting for Gerard to scoff and say something like 'okay then' or something along those lines.

He did not.

Gerard was silent for a few moments before one hand gently stroked Frank's hair for ten seconds and pulled Frank's head back a bit so he could look down and look at Frank.

"Can I," He paused, thinking, "Can I do something, Frank?" He asked, his eyes meeting Frank in the incredibly low lighting. His fingers entwined in Frank's dark hair and his free arm rested on the pillow around them both, protectively. Their legs were wrapped together and Gerard let out a slow sigh of happiness as Frank nodded slowly.

Gerard's fingers went from gently stroking Frank's hair to trailing down Frank's face and jawline to his thumb brushing across his pink lips. Frank's lips parted ever so slightly against Gerard's thumb as he looked up with trust deep in his eyes.

Silence was in the room, aside from Gerard stroking Frank's face and caressing his cheek before he took in a slow breath, as if confirming something deep within himself.

There was a few moments of complete silence before Frank felt his head tilted up more and Gerard's warm breath over his lips before Gerard leaned in.

Frank let his eyes flutter shut as Gerard's grip loosen slightly and their lips meeting slowly. softly. Like two swans dancing together on a silent lake under the pale moonlight, arching, dancing together in unison.

The two males kissed each other softly and let their bodys' press tighter, their legs wrap around each other further and their hands interlocking as they expressed their feelings in a way that could only be described as beautiful, innocent almost.

Neither one stopped kissing the other for a very long time, they didn't want to stop, but it wasn't aggressive, it was just calming, loving and gentle. But they didn't want to stop and have to address their feelings for each other, they just wanted to stay liek that forever, lost in each other's everything and being in sync with each other.

But they did, eventually. Their foreheads pressed together and their breath intermingling, holding hands and eyes closed.

"I really really like you, Gerard."

"I love you too, Frank."
