Gerard shivered, he was only wearing a hoodie, boxers and sweatpants. His shoes were barely on and he hadn't even bothered with socks. He realized, as he stood on the front door that he really should have at least put /some/ effort into the way he looked. He didn't however, so there he stood, looking like a tired mess.

His thoughts cut off abruptly as he heard footsteps approaching the door and he sucked in his breath and ran a hand through his hair one final time just to try make himself look slightly better.

It took a few moments for the door to unlock properly, there was clicks and thinks then the sound of a key turning before the door swung open to reveal him.

Short, but not tiny, black raven hair that fell around his shoulders and perfect coffee eyes that could energise you into a frenzy or make you want to lay down your head and listen to him serenade you with a lullaby.

Frank Iero was the prettiest man on earth.

Gerard's eyes met Frank's and he opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out, not even a simple 'Hello'. Frank's soft, pink lips were slightly parted and one strand of escapist hair was laying on his forehead, his top fit him perfectly and everything was so perfectly sculpted, like God himself had sat down and created him.

He was perfect.

"Woah..." Gerard's voice trailed off as he raised his hand a little and waved, in a complete daze.

"Hey..." Frank's voice was similar, shocked, in disbelief, amazed and so perfect.

The stood in complete silence for a few moments, the two males merely looking at each other and taking in the features of the other. Neither seemed too fazed as they watched the other watching them and observe them. Something in the air had clicked, something was just right.

"Come in," Frank began, pausing before trying to think of a way to continue his sentence but giving up. He pressed himself against the wall to give Gerard room to walk in before softly closing the door behind him and locking it for the night.

There was a smile on the red haired male's face as he walked slowly through the house, being ushered by Frank into the living room where the couch faced a medium sized television that was never used.

"You're real." Gee stated, blinking a little and sitting down slowly, he had taken his shoes off at the door and his feet curled around him to keep himself warm. Frank giggled a little, a ridiculously bright smile covering his face as he nodded.

"You're real too." He responded, unable to stop how wide his smile was and how much it actually was beginning to strain and hurt his face by this point. His heart was thudding and he could feel it pulsing, sending blood round his body steadily. Frank was just so happy that Gerard was here right now.

Frank sat down facing Gerard and their eyes met again and blushes found their ways on both of their faces. They couldn't help but get entranced and lost in the fact that they were there, they were within touching distance of each other and over the past few months they had been so close yet not realized at all for some reason.

"I, uh, can I touch you?" Gerard asked slowly, "I mean, like, not in the weird way, like, holding hands?" He asked hopefully, biting his lip, his eyes lighting up like stars in the night sky when Frank nodded with a beaming smile.

Gerard reached out and interlaced their hands, gripping Frank and feeling the texture of his skin against his and felt his whole being warm up with happiness, with relief. Frank began laughing a bit and couldn't stop smiling, the pair held each other's hands simply smiled and laugh, just happy to be with each other finally.

Because they were meant to be, even if neither of them consciously realized it yet.
