Guys, I'm so sorry for the long wait. I had exams and I have 8 weeks until more exams. It's all a bit hectic but I'm trying my best.

“We need to find Wade.” I muttered and finished the last of my toast. I was back in Jackson’s penthouse. It had been a week since Belle and I met that guy in the restaurant. Although we both had figured it out, I was still a mess and frankly, so was Jackson’s penthouse.

Jackson kicked on of my shirts and grunted. “Okay, I know house maids are meant to clean this place but come on, even they have complained about this place. It’s a crap hole and it’s your fault.”

“Look, I’m sorry. I need to find this Wade, we’ve been at that café every day and he doesn’t show up. But I know he’s not leaving without getting paid so either he’s been paid or he’s sticking around someplace we can’t find him.”

“We will find him, that doesn’t mean you need to make yourself a pig and this place the landfill.”

“You don’t understand. If I don’t find proof or sort this out, I promised I’d move in with Belle and as much as I want that-“

“You think you’ll be losing everything your father left for you.” Jackson finished. “I get it. I would do the same but if you’re hurting Belle and yourself-“

“Belle is fine with it for now. She doesn’t know and I want to keep it that way.” I mumbled with cereal in my mouth.

“Well, if you’re gonna defeat that son of a bitch uncle of yours, it’s gotta be done right. I’d sent all your clothes to the laundry and dry cleaning. All your suits will be good as new and go shave that hedgehog face and please shower…for at least an hour.”

I grinned. If I was going to do this, Jackson meant it had to be done in style. I swallowed my cereal and did as I was told. Suddenly, I felt renewed hope in finding Wade.

After the horrific run in with Seth, I’d done everything to make sure Nathan understood and wasn’t at all assuming that anything was happening with Seth. Nathan has been both gone and here for the past week. He spent most of the mornings doing whatever and spending his nights with the kids or with me. It was 12 o’clock and I was having lunch with the kids. I watched Franklin take all the lettuce out of his sandwiches and Emma was refusing to drink even milk. I kissed her chubby cheek and cradled her.

“Frank, eat the lettuce.” I ordered but he threw them across the table.
