Envy had never looked so confused. New people? Why the hell was her boss getting new people? She didn't like the sound of it one bit. Sugar on the other hand looked very excited. She was the happy, sociable kind (she was year of the monkey after all) and loved meeting new people. That was when the third assassin came in.
"yo everyone!" she smiled. He had never looked so surprised before.
"donuts.. You're actually early?"
"yeah, I ran!"
He turned pale in shock.
"all the way to the taxi. I had to run about 10 feet! It was awful.."
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Dinosaur donuts running? Unless there's food involved, this would never happen. How she was such a good assassin no one knew.
"so are you happy boss? Are you proud of me?"
He rolled his eyes.
"I'm not going to be proud of you for getting a taxi to bring you here early."
Donuts sighed.
"welp, I tried."
He walked back to his desk, and picked up his snazzy mobile. Snazzy. I like that word. He dialed in a number, and then put it to his ear.
"hello, it's me. Everything alright? Good. Now then, for once all my assassins are here early, so you may come early too. Yes, you're very welcome. Yes, they're all very excited to meet you. Yes that's everything. Oh, and remember to tell the midget one this information .. Yes, the eagle. OK then. Goodbye."
He hung up. Everyone looked at each other.
"so when do they arrive?"
