"this is the beginning." zodiac announced.
"the beginning of what?" envy asked politely.
"well, the beginning of a few things really." he sat down at the head of the table.
"first of all, you're all getting a special little present from me."
He dug into his drawer and brought out five triangular shaped prisms made of metal.
"name cards?" donuts picked hers up.
"uh huh. Just an added little.. Jass to your place."
The girls thanked him.
"so, number two: as I guess you've figured out, demons and diamonds are, I am pleased to say, official members of the SPs. Round of applause!"
Sugar, donuts and envy applauded the pair with genuine happiness. The two of them looked over the moon, which was a first for demon.
" our third new bonus, we have a couple of new recruits."
The girls span around as none other than matt and max, or M & M as they were now known, came through.
"yep, we have our new weapon creators, designers, manufacturers: whatever they are, they are now ours."
The boys took their places, Matt sitting next to envy and max next to sugar.
"hey!" he whispered to her joyfully. She noticed her number on his hand, fading but still there, as if he hadn't touched it. She had never felt so bad before. She replied back, trying to hide her guilt. She put her arms up on the table, and rested her head on her right hand. What the hell had she done?
"and, our fourth and final surprise, the biggest yet." zodiac continued. "there will be no more SPs."
The girls gasped.
"but..you just said.."
"yes, I know demon. But I meant what I said. Us six are done."
Everyone was speechless. It was a huge shock to them, and it caused silence to fill the room and wrap around everyone like a snake. That was, until, zodiac began to laugh.
"oh my God, the looks on your faces are priceless. Girls, the SPs will always be here!"
They all started shouting at zodiac in anger.
"oh come on, cool it!" he shouted over all of them, and they stopped.
"thank you. Now then, we're not finished. We're just having an upgrade. And how do we upgrade?"
The game show was back, and all the girls finally knew the answer.
"we add in more.. Stuff?"
"they need to find a thesaurus." demon shook her head.
"yeah, close enough." zodiac stood up.
"so, ladies, and you two gentlemen, I introduce, our upgrade stuff."
The door opened.
"free ice cream."
