The boys lead them into another room, that thankfully wasn't so harshly lit.
"you seriously use mannequins? Aren't they plastic?" diamonds questioned them. "don't you have dummies instead?"
"yeah! They're just for tailoring purposes."
"you make clothes?!" sugar gasped in excitement. "do you have things that spies have? Like shoes with blades, or watches with poison darts?"
"calm down." zodiac hissed at her. "we don't have time for getting fancy outfits."
She sighed. The girls walked towards the dummies.
"go on! Shoot them, stab them, throw stuff at them - play all you like."
"does anyone know any words other than stuff?" demons huffed as diamonds folded her arms. They picked up their weapons, and then they began. Envy, demons and diamonds all had small, elegant guns, covered with intricate patterns. But clearly they weren't just for show. When shot, the bullet travelled up to 40 feet.
"we based the length on a T rex. The average tyrannosaurus was 40 feet, and it's skull alone was around five feet." the brown haired boy explained.
"your just so.. Random." demons shook her head.
"I like random." sugar whispered in his ear, which sent shivers down his spine. Her and donuts had delicate looking knives. Sugar threw one like a dart, and it went straight into the dummies chest, right where the heart would be. Donuts flicked her wrist, and her knife went flying through the air, before wedging itself into the head. The boys stared at them in amazement.
"you're good." they gasped.
The girls could of spent all day on that one room, but zodiac knew they had to get to the school.
"alright girls. That's enough playing around. Get your things and I'll pay for them. Then we're going."
"aaawwww!" they moaned in disappointment like children. They walked back through the rooms, and went back to the counter. The boys counted everything up.
"so, what offer do I get today? Fifteen percent off, like usual?"
The boys thought for a minute.
"you brought the girls with you. We'll make it 20."
Zodiac beamed.
"the girls are coming with me every trip." he smiled. "come on, pick up your stuff." he ordered as he paid for all their weapons.
"hey, I never got your names." sugar leaned over the counter.
"oh yeah, right. Well, I'm Max," the brown haired boy introduced himself "and this is Matt."
"no way! Really?" sugar giggled.
"um.. Yeah?" matt nodded, slightly confused.
"how's that funny?" demon asked her.
"M & M!"
Max and Matt burst out laughing.
"we never noticed that before!"
"you are a genius!" they praised her as Matt patted her shoulder. Zodiac folded his arms.
"come on, we have to go!"
The rest of the girls began to leave, but sugar stayed with the boys.
"one last thing. Any of you have a pen?"
"yep, right here." max handed her one. She snatched his hand in her own, and began to write something. He watched, cheeks red, as she quickly scribbled down a string of numbers, and then she put the pen back on the counter.
"here. My number." she winked again. That was when donuts took her arm and dragged her away.
"call me!" she shouted out as they left.
"wow. She's sweet, isn't she?" Max sighed as he rested his arms on the counter. Matt rolled his eyes.
"someone's got a little crush." he teased. "I guess you could say it's a candy crush?" he clapped his hands.
"that was just awful." max said.
