The girls were all taken aback by this.
"they can't attack the school!" sugar burst out. She suddenly realised her mistake. Mentally, she kicked herself as everyone stared at her in shock and confusion. Especially zodiac.
"um.. I mean.. I mean come on!" she started smiling. "a school? Seriously? The only victims there are pathetic teachers and defenseless students. How boring, and easy. And what will they get out of it?"
She had done an excellent job of masking her shock.
"they are all very good points sugar." zodiac nodded his head. "all they want is attention."
"yeah you just want attention" sugar started singing
"you don't want my heart
Baby, you're just sick of the thought of me with someone else."
"enough sugar." zodiac hissed at her.
"sorry." she muttered.
"as I was saying, before I was rudely inturrupted," he glanced at sugar, throwing metaphorical daggers at her "they just want attention. They aim for things that will hit the public hard. That's their tactic; simple, but effective things that will give them a guaranteed headline everywhere. But, if we can stop them, the headlines will be ours, along with the title if best assassins in Britain. And that's what we want, yes?"
" yes!" the girls chorused back.
" yes what?"
" yes sir!"
"that's what I like to hear! Now then," he began as he took out some folders. "here I have all the information on the three assassins we will be up against. Read it, memorise it, and I want you back here same time tomorrow to discuss tactics and other.. Stuff."
"another one with limited vocab." demons nudged diamonds, who grinned.
"now goodnight. Go."
They left in silence.
