Three's A Crowd

A/N: I'll find stuff for the three assassins - the top is gingernut. And the last one was kate. Again, they don't look like the picture, but I'm sure you've gathered this by now. Enjoy! 😊

*two days earlier*

It was Saturday, but sadly the girls were back at work. They held their folders close as zodiac walked in.
"so, have we read everything ladies?"
They nodded.
"good. Now then, let's take a seat, and we can begin."
Except for zodiacs chair, there was not one in sight.
"step back." he commanded. Then, he pressed a button on his desk, and it extended into a long, elegant table, while areas of the floor began to split apart, and chairs smoothly rose from the ground. Demons and diamonds looked very impressed, but the other three had watched this transformation lots of times, and to them it was nothing new. When the process was finished, zodiac signalled at the group to sit down. They did what they were told.
"So, we have three people to focus on today. Three assassins that we will be facing. Ladies, can you name them?" he turned to sugar, envy and donuts. Donuts automatically opened up her folder.
"without the folders donuts. If you'd of read everything, this should be easy."
Yet again, the girls were caught in a game show situation. But, at least two of the players had their answers.
"assassin number one," sugar began "goes by the name of ginger nut, after her long orange hair. Fairly tall and slim, she can be agile, but her height makes her a fraction of a second slower than us shorter people."
Envy smiled, and diamonds let out a little "yes!" in happiness.
"she is pretty skilled though: and by that, I mean she has completed the highest level possible in karate, judo, kick boxing and the like. She's excellent with guns, and the bigger the better. But one important thing to remember is that, like us, she's completely mad. But, sometimes she goes a little OTT, and laughs too much. This can make her stop completely on occasions, and even if it's just a pause, it's an excellent weakness."
Zodiac gave her a tiny, casual applause.
" good girl sugar, good girl! Someone's done their homework. Now then, you next envy."
Envy took a deep breath. This was just as bad as doing a presentation to a class. Zodiac always chose her, but she knew it was to hopefully get her confidence levels higher. As if that could happen.
" assassin two, named Alpha the water claw. The name's inspired by the 'jury of nine.' She's excellent with her close up combat, and her grenade throwing is unbelievably accurate. Her strengths lie in smaller weapons like blades and knives, but she can also use bigger weapons if necessary. Her weakness though is a crowd. If she's completely surrounded with no possible means of escape, she can panic and loose focus."
Envy let out a sigh of relief as zodiac applauded her. Sugar winked at her proudly.
"very good envy. I'm impressed. Donuts, it's your turn. Off you go."
Donuts Sat up in her chair.
"OK. Assassin number three is called works of fire, after the word fireworks. And, just like fireworks, she has infinite bursts of energy. She's the shortest out the lot , but this is a huge advantage. The opposite to ginger, her height makes her a fraction quicker than some of our taller members. Her strengths are similar to alphas, preferring the use of smaller weapons. Fire likes to use small guns and pistols best, in the James bond style - hiding behind walls, rolling around everywhere and jumping and diving at random times. Her weakness is in close up fighting. Her combat skills are amazing, but they're not as good as ours. If we can get up close, we can stop her."
Again, zodiac clapped his hands.
"well, it looks like all of you have handed your homework in on time. Well done ladies. Well done." he beamed.
"all that's left now is your reward trip."
"reward trip?" the girls chorused.
"i will explain all on Monday. Enjoy your Sunday off. Goodbye ladies."
They got up and left.
