The next day Johnson ordered us away to another town in L.A and buy clothes for tomorrow’s party and when we were done we were to go to our assigned apartment and lay low until the party in the heart of L.A.

The boys were pumped but I was all moans and complaint saying I’ll just use an old dress or something, but when I went back and checked my closet I realised I didn’t own a dress. And if did happen to buy one I’d always throw it out. What was the point of those things anyway? You can barely even move in them. But unfortunately for me Coldwell made sure I even had training in those things and high heels so if I were on a mission like this I knew what I was doing.

‘I can't believe I'm doing this,’ I moaned as we were all now in a jet ready for the closest mall.

All of us looking like normal teens/young adults in our jeans and t-shirts, or in Pearson's case; khaki’s and a button up shirt. Looking hot like the rest of them did.

Chris laughs beside me and glances sideways, ‘sometimes I wonder if you really are a girl or not,’ he jokes as the others settle into their chairs properly, the jet already taking off.

‘Sometimes I wonder if you three are really guys or not,’ I shot back jokingly watching as he feigns hurt, opening his mouth like an “O” and putting his hand against his heart.

‘Oh sweetie, you injure me sometimes, give a boy a break hunny,’ he says with a flick of his wrists with a judging feminine male voice which set everyone into a round of laughter.

‘Don't ever do that again,’ Kirk laughs from across of us tears in his eyes and Pearson shaking his head with a grin beside him.

‘I knew it!’ I laughed tucking my legs beneath me and turning toward him in my seat.

‘Hey, are you calling me gay?’ he asks feigning hurt again and widening his eyes.

I smirked and sat down properly, leaning my back and head against the head rest ‘don't worry darl’, you secret’s safe with me,’ I say softly, touching my heart then pretending to zip my lips together.

He growls and pokes me on the side sending the boys into a fit of laughter yet again.

‘Aw, man, I always knew something was up,’ Pearson jokes winking at Chris when he finished laughing.

‘Shut up,’ Chris mumbles looking away and toward where Duke sat by himself on the other isle of four chairs alone, his eyes closed and his face peaceful, no one daring to bother him or go near even though we all knew he wasn’t asleep. I swear that kid never sleeps, so if he’s ever around none of us talk about him good or bad though none of us bother to annoy him like we do to each other.

‘Ya reckon he knows anything about our mission tomorrow night?’ Chris asks quietly when Pearson and Kirk start talking about some video game with shooting and whatnot.

I shrug and look back at Chris, ‘maybe, he may not snoop like I do but he always seems to know more than me,’ I whine pouting a little and making him laugh.

‘Well he has had more practice and knowledge and is more mature than the three of us combined,’ he says leaning his head back onto the head rest like me and half closing his lids as he stared at me.

‘Yeah, you three boys, not me!’ I joke before pushing my chair backward a little to lie down.

‘I find that very offensive thank you very much!’ he says feigning annoyance but then sticking his tongue out and making a face like the mature person he was, his face close just to annoy me, eyes sparkling playfully.

I laugh and push his face away from mine before getting up just as the pilot said something about being 13 hours away from our destination.

‘Reckon a couple of glasses should do?’ I ask the boys wanting a glass of wine to put me to sleep for now.
