Adriana’s P.O.V.
‘…The guards were all cocky dorks and I sure showed 'em,’ I smirk and I could practically see everyone who was watching this and knew me shaking their heads. But then Sheeran stands up from his chair and glares at me, shaking his head and signalling that was all I could say for now.
I look back at the camera and said the first thing I could think of: ‘Anyway. I love yous. And um, I’ll be back soon. I promise. Bye for now.’
I get up and put my hand at the front of the camera as tears start to form in my eyes then turning the camera off before the tears roll down.
When that was done I look up at the roof and blinked away the tears but a voice cuts me short: ‘Aw, baby needs a tissue?’ Sheeran asks with a smile.
I flip him the bird and glare at him as he sat lazily on a couch again, his head on one arm of the couch and his feet on the other.
‘C'mon beautiful, time to go.’ He says as he sits up again, the gun sliding down to his lap.
I smile sweetly though gritted teeth, ‘sure thing.’
It’s been a month now since I knew what they wanted from me, the reason why they kidnapped me and kept me here. They wanted their man back: their snitch that worked in the firm. I can remember the scene and what had happened when they told me; fresh in my mind.
~~flash back~~
‘What do you want?’ I growled as I glared at Sheeran and his men.
I was in the lounge room chilling as I waited for Romeo to get back from whatever it was he does without me.
‘You, of course,’ Sheeran says as he walked toward me.
I stand up and glare at him, stopping him short as he was half way toward me. ‘Come anywhere near me and I’ll rip your balls off. Got it?’ I threaten.
Instead he just cocks up a brow and walks forward again but instead of coming toward me he sits on the couch and props his feet on the coffee table, he looks at me and smiles. ‘Sit,’ he says in a sickly happy voice as he pats the seat next to him. I glare and stay where I am.
‘Or not…’ he frowns.
‘Get to the point Sheeran or get out.’
‘Oh, we all know that won’t be happening.’ He says with a roll of his eyes.
I clench my fists and check how many guards were in here before looking at their weapons: six steroids, nine guns. Nah, maybe next time.
‘Alright,’ he says snapping me back to look at him as if he knew what I was thinking. ‘Here’s the deal. As you know, you’re part of the plan…’ he looks at me as if checking if was listening or not. I nod.
‘Thing is. We have a snitch in the firm,’ he says. I clamp my jaw shut knowing I’ll say something stupid and never end up hearing whatever he had to say.
Snitch? In the firm? No way.
‘He’s gone rogue. And has actually joined the firm – for real. He’s not responding to my boys and I, so now we plan to put this to a stop seeing he’s betrayed us and also killed a lot of our men along with that firm of yours,’ he snarls at the end.
I smirk.
‘Yeah? So? What do I have to do with this?’ I ask, tone bored.
‘You, my darling, are going to kill him.’ He says with a smirk of his own.
