A week or so later I had been officially fostered by Jasmine and Anthony, but I stayed with Mia a lot. When I walked into school and as I passed people would whispered and look surprised. I looked around and as I saw Yvonne and Tyra. I jogged up to them.
"Guys. Why is everyone whispering about me?" I asked as Yvonne pulled out her phone and opened it. She showed me a news article.
'NYC STUDENT NEWS.'
Yesterday a fellow student of yours, JADE BLASKO, was spotted with Mia Ramos and Jasmine Cephas-Ramos around the New York area. They were seen walking towards The Richard Rodgers before our camera man lost sight of them. A few rumors have started that she is possibly being fostered by Mia or Jasmine. She could also be possibly adopted by them! I'd say become friends with her before she becomes famous!'
"This is fucking stupid." I handed Yvonne back her phone, "now everyone's gonna think I'm some famous kid and ask for my autograph or something."
London sighed, "its the day before Winter Break, we're just playing games all week."
"Ok.." i sighed, "let's get to class."

I waved goodbye to my friends as I made my way to Drama. We have a whole period dedicated to it, and even after school practices. As I set my books down outside like we're supposed to someone shoved me and I stumbled back. Two guys stood there, they were about my height. Taller but not by much. I straightened my stance and pushed past them as they yelled rude things to me. Things I don't want to repeat. I knew one of them was named Lucas, I just hoped that the bullying wouldn't escalate. And boy was I wrong,
