Drama Tryouts were today, I wasn't really looking forward to it. Lin said he wouldn't be there until the last two months of our practices because of a movie. Everyone knew it was Mary Poppins. I stood next to London. She was the only one of my friends trying out, and she was going to be King George. If she could. She went out first and I sat there nervously, then they called me. I walked in and I was met with the eyes of Lin and Mia. Mia gasped and got up, giving me a hug and whispering Spanish.

"How is your mother."

"Well, she is going in for her second to last chemo tomorrow. But they might have to unplug her."

"Aw no, that's awful."

She kissed my head and whispered good luck. Then she turned and sat back down, I smiled.

"Whenever your ready."Lin nodded, I took a deep breath and started Acapella singing Congratulations. When I finished Mia clapped and Lin did too, they thanked me. Jotted somethings down, and then I walked out. London gave me a hug.

"Lets go see Mama Blasko."

When I walked in I saw Mia, she looked at me and ran over hugging me. London looked shocked, giving me the 'holy shit, Mia Ramos knows you?!' Look. I chuckled at her face and looked at mia.

"What's the rush? The panicked expression?" I asked

"Your mother.. I had to put word in for you."

My heart broke, I knew what she meant. My mother had died, the only person left in my family. My dad died in the war, my grandparents died in a plane crash and aunts, uncles and cousins all died in a fire. I felt empty though. I didn't have any emotion in my face. She said something to London but I didn't hear, everything felt fuzzy. And maybe it was. Where the hell do I go from here!? London took me home and we boxed up my small amount of belongings. We worked until the sun went down and at the end of the day we loaded everything into a truck, put the house up for sale and I went to live with London for a while.

"Mia said she's trying to get you with someone she knows but it might take a while."

"I'm willing to wait."

"Good, because it might be a few months."
