She certainly was bound to Martin. Because of that, she made herself a promising target. Aside from that, she was really cute, anyways. Not to mention, smart, caring, reliable. She's everything Martin can ask for.

Unfortunately, there's a problem. She's everything I can ask for, too. And, to think I'm using her as an instrument, a tool, or maybe, I think a puppet suits it better, it's, in my opinion, inhumane, and it's not like me at all.

I may have been filled with desire to make revenge against Martin. After all, he greatly changed our family's bond, to a negative point. He is the reason why Rocky's like this, why our parents couldn't compromise, and why we moved here to begin with. That fool still acts innocently, and I can't forgive him for what he did.

What did he do? It's better if you ask Rocky himself. He's the one who is suffering the most. My brother was kindhearted before, but that all changed when...

I realized that I was sitting next to Zoey, riding in the bus. It headed to Buster Pier. I know that Aster Pier was closer, the wooden fishing one, and that we can just walk our way there, but there was a fishing competition ongoing. Buster Pier was more serene and secluded from the hassle and the odor of fish. Almost. The sea port was just close by, and that place was flocked with ships of all kinds coming and going to their own destinations.

I heard something growling near me, and I came to be that it was Zoey's stomach. She looked embarrassed again.

She said, apologetically, "Sorry, it's because we haven't eaten much yet. Yes, we had a few snacks before we left, but..."

Looks like I have to treat her to something, or she might starve and regret being here. "Ok, where do you want to do? I heard there's this restaurant called "Excellent!" opening around here soon. They say the food is amazing, and it comes in a very reasonable price."

"Really?" she exclaimed. "Is that true?"

"Well, it still hasn't opened for the public yet. I was just saying."

"Oh," she looked out the other way. She has the attitude of an eager, young, innocent girl. "That's a pity."

"It's ok. I take you somewhere else. We could have gone to Peces, that family restaurant, but we passed it by already. Hmm, fast food, you ok with that?" I suggested, thinking of all the possible options there could be.

"Sure," she accepted, relieved. "I'm starving like crazy."

Fast food it is, then. I planned ourselves a route to the nearest one, and warned Zoey that we would be leaving in the next stop.
