Love shouldn't be taken easy. It's carefully thought out, and it'll mature in a matter of time. If the two are really meant to be, despite the trails they'd face, they would be inseparable. Their mutual understanding for one another shouldn't stray away; instead, it must have a strong correlation, although not always perfect. Happiness will balance with their sorrow, and vice versa.

On the other hand, if they aren't meant to be, their stay would cease eventually, like a fire dying, because it is running out of the passion, the fuel that started it. Their relationship would last shortly, if not, instantaneously, because their intentions weren't serious to begin with. The two will leave each other and find new love, or not search for it at all, depending on their true feelings.

That's why love isn't all that easy.

The wind is quite strong today for a sunny day. The only sight of clouds were coming from the horizon, approaching in the distance. It's hard to continuously arrange your hair all the time, and my hair is already cut short. I don't think of changing it anytime soon.

I took a donut from the plastic bag (surprisingly, it wasn't squished by the contents of my bag earlier), and bit on the pastry. Everything used to be a whole lot sweeter, but my taste of the world became so bitter as... well, dark chocolate, that's the flavor of the donut I am eating. I remember I pointed it out clearly to the guy at the store that I didn't want dark chocolate. He wasn't listening, I think. I already have to much to think of.

Oh, well. I better not put this to waste.

Suddenly, I heard the door behind me swing open. It took me a while to snap out of the trance I was in. I turned to see who it was, and, although I knew somewhere in my head, I was stupefied seeing them.

The boys have arrived. Martin, with his casual look that defines him, was standing as still as a rock, petrified. Ty was also there, his usual idle eyes glimmering an astonishing gray. Rocky straddled towards his brother and stopped in his tracks after focusing on the subject they were looking at. Me.

I asked, "What are you doing here?" Silence. "Guys?"

"Yeah, you were saying?" Martin said.

"I haven't said anything yet. All I asked was, "What are you doing here?'"

"We were just walking around. Stopped by." That was Tyrone.

I stood up from the floor and said, "I see." I set aside the bag I had, wiped my face, and fixed my hair. I couldn't think of anything else to do, since, if I looked at them again, I might do something stupid.

It was time to finally make my decision, since there is no time like the present. We were all gathered up anyways, so why not? I'm certain I made the right decision in my head.

Taking a deep breath, although it might surprise them by saying this out of the blue, I declared, averting my eyesight as much as possible, "I've made up my mind. You want to know who I like?"

As I expected, they turned their attention to me once more. Not sure if it's by curiosity or not. Looks like they expect a response. Another deep breath, Zoey. Be ready.
