Skylar's POV
The rest of the week flew by pretty quickly and when Saturday rolled around, Danny and I had plans to go to the mall all day. I jumped out of bed and started getting ready while jamming out to One Direction. By the time I finished getting ready, Danny was knocking on my door to pick me up. "Hey, cutie," he winked at me.
I blushed, before grabbing his hand and walking to his car. He opened the door for me and I climbed in. It didn't take very long to get to the mall from my house. As soon as he parked the car, I jumped out and ran for the doors. Danny took off after me and stopped to catch his breath when he caught me.
"Oops, sometimes I forget not everyone runs as much as I do," I laughed. Glancing at me, he gave me a little smirk. We walked inside hand in hand and looked around. "What to do. What to do," I muttered to myself until laying eyes on a photo booth. Without warning, I dragged Danny over to the photo booth.
He stared at me in amusement as I made sure nobody was inside. When I saw nobody was in there, I walked in and sat down with Danny next to me. "Hey, Sky, I've got a great idea for a pose." I looked at him with a questioning look before I felt a pair of lips crash onto mine.
"Well, hello there," I whispered. He grinned at me, before we posed for more pictures. Once we were done, we grabbed our pictures and started walking through the mall. We walked through a bunch of stores until we found one with matching sweatshirts. He ended up buying them for us, so I quickly slipped mine on. "I love it!"
He smiled at me, before dragging me out. I checked my watch and saw it was almost one. "So, I say we go get some food, then go see a movie. I've been dying to see the new Pirates of the Carribean." Danny thought for a second before agreeing and walking with me to the food court.
Once we had ordered our food, we grabbed it and sat down across from each other. We sat eating in silence when I suddenly got a text from Sammy. At first I ignored it but when my phone buzzed again I decided to check it.
Sammy: Look I get the fact you don't want to talk to me but I need to tell you something about Danny ASAP. It's super important. Just text me back whenever....
I rolled my eyes and set my phone back down. We sat there talking about random stuff for a hour, then Danny got up to throw our stuff away. Scanning the food court, my eyes spotted Sammy watching us from across the room. His eyes looks sad and I knew I should listen to him but I couldn't.
Danny came back, so I got up and walked away. We ran in and out of a bunch of stores just looking and not buying anything. Finally, we walked back to his car laughing about the day. It was already 6, so we stopped by McDonald's and I ordered fries and a milkshake.
After we picked up our order, he drove me to my house and I walked in and up to my room with him. We laid down on my bed and cuddled for a little before he tried making a move. "Danny, we just started dating. Slow down." He looked upset, but nodded his head and moved his hand.
After laying there for a couple of minutes, Danny fell asleep, so I got up and walked into the bathroom really quickly. Looking at the text from Sammy, I decided I could text him back. It took me almost 5 minute to even start thinking of a response, but the words seemed to flow.
Skylar: Okay, you wanna talk? Next Saturday we can meet up and talk about whatever you need to say. Show up at the park at exactly 12. If you're late I'm leaving and that's that.
I pressed send without even looking at it again, before walking in my bedroom to see him still sleeping. Just as I was about to lay down next to him, someone texted him. Not wanting to be nosey, I decided to ignore it. Just then another message was sent, so I decided to look.
***-***-****: I've decided I'm going to tell her. This isn't a game and I actually have feelings for her.
***-***-****: It's been settled. She is going to figure out soon enough. If you don't tell her soon, I will.
I stared at the phone for a little bit, but didn't bother to check to see if I recognized the number. Setting it back on my nightstand, I went and laid down next to him. I wonder who they're talking about. It's not me is it?
