Josh's POV

I felt my mouth stuck gaping open.
They were Tyler's drawings the whole time? Holy fuck.
Tyler is my soul mate?
Josh stared hard at his arm, and silently got pissed at myself when I remembered how mean I had been to the other boy.
"I can't tell him, not yet anyways."
Brendon gasps, "What the fuck? Why?"
"I want him to fall for me naturally, this is if he does fall for me. I will eventually tell me."
"This is gonna be a hard secret for me to keep." Brendon sighs.
"Do it for me, please?"
Brendon nods his head and glances at my arms once more.
Realization hits his face, then he grabs my arm.
"What? What is it?"
"N-Nothing. Hey, it's getting late you better head out."
Brendon rushes me out of the door which leaves me utterly confused. He has never acted like that towards me before.

Tyler's POV

The voice wasn't stopping, no matter how covered in sharpie I was.
Maybe I had to relapse again. Anything to stop this screaming, anything.

TRIGGER

I slid the razor on my wrist once, I smile when the screaming subsides a little. When I go to slide the razor again, my phone rings and I drop the blade. It falls straight into my sink and falls down my drain.

I shakily answer the phone.
"Tyler?" I hear Brendon on the other side of the phone, but I choose not to answer because my voice will give away my failure.
"Tyler, do I need to come over?"
"No, no. I'm okay."
"I don't believe you." Brendon hangs up.

I give up and walk into my room and clean up the markers spread everywhere.
When I got finished I walked over to my window and looked towards Josh's house.
It was still raining, but Josh was outside sitting on his patio.
He wasn't really moving, he was just kind of there.
I heard the door open, but my focus was entirely on Josh.

When Brendon reached my room it had already began to rain even harder.
Brendon stands next to me, "Tyler, what are you looking at?"
I point towards Josh.
Brendon looks towards Josh, "What the fuck is he doing in the rain?"
"I don't know, should we go over there?"
Brendon nods and leads me to my back door.
We run over to the fence separating Josh and I's yard.
I speak first, "Josh! What are you doing?! You're gonna get sick!"
Josh turns and just stares at me.
"Josh!"
Josh stands up, still staring right at me. He walks straight for me, and momentarily I completely forget it's raining.
He walks in front of me and gently takes one of my hands and flips my wrist upward, "Please, Ty, stop hurting yourself."
I freeze, I didn't want him to see that. Blurry especially didn't.
He looked into my eyes again and was looking for reassurance and I, for once, feel like I need to fight back rather than work ways around Blurry's hatred.
