"I'm sorry that it has to be me, but I love you. It's probably even too soon, but you are genuinely an amazing soul."
More tears begin falling down Josh's face. I walk over quietly and take a seat next to him.
He looks over at me and takes my hands in his, he flips my hands so my wrists are facing upwards.
"I hate it so much that you're so sad," He sniffles then picks up my hands and starts placing soft kisses to my wrists on my scars and new cuts, "You deserve to be happy."
I look into Josh's brown eyes and really take in how beautiful and soft they are. He has a hint of sadness in his eyes, but you can tell he hides it well.
I interlace my fingers with his.
"Will you be my boyfriend?" I whisper.
Josh looks at me shocked, "Are you serious??"
His face is lit up and his eyes are looking at me excitedly.
"Yes, I'm serious."
"Yes, Ty, I'll be your boyfriend!"
"Thank you."
"No, thank you." I reach over and wipe the remaining tears off of his face, then I lean over and kiss his forehead.

We finally go home, and I sit down on my bed and sigh.
Josh is an amazing guy-
well, it sucks he probably doesn't love you

"Shut up, he does!"

doesn't mean he's your soul mate, haha, he's gonna leave

"leave me alone."

you know i'm right, i'm always right.

I take a pillow and slam it on my face. I just want him to shut up.
After a few minutes and some heavy breathing, I don't hear him anymore.

The next day, I go to work like normal and I'm immediately greeted with a spazzy Brendon.
"Hey! Hey! Hey!" he jumps all around me.
"Any news about the amazing Joshler?"
I giggle, "Hmmmm, he's my boyfriend now."
"OH MY FUCKING GOD." he screams causing a nearby customer to jump.
He sheepishly mumbles a sorry which causes the customer to laugh.

Brendon turns back to me then rushes me behind the counter.
"When did this happen?"
"Last night, I asked him."
He claps aggressively and jumps like a child, "I'm so happy for you!"
"Haha thank you, Brendon."
"You wanna go to dinner tonight?"
"Well, duh."
"Yay!" I watch him dramatically walk back to his office.
I turn to face the register and put my name in it to till it out and finally start my shift.
