It's been two months since Luke and I started over and things have been going really good so far. He didn't take our relationship to the next level because we already know how that would turn out.
There are times where we would fight over small things but it's not like one of those long arguments. We would ignore each other for a couple hours and then end up doing something fun together.
The peach tree situation couldn't be undone. It was a really stupid thing for me to do but I was so upset at that time I just had to do it.
Luke and I bought a small peach tree plant a few weeks ago and we planted it in the backyard of Luke's house. We'd visit it nearly everyday but left it alone for now because Luke's mum told the both of us that she would take care of it. She's a really good gardener too.
On a different note, Amber and Drew have grown closer to each and basically they do everything with each other. Yesterday, they played doctor and Drew was the one who took care of Amber.
With Alex, he was more happier than ever. Why? Jessa surprised him by covering his eyes when he was about to go out for some food and telling him to guess who it was. When he found out, it was like his smile would never leave his face. They had a really cute relationship. I'm such a softie for relationships like those.
I feel like today is one of the most happiest days I've ever lived I don't know why but it's the greatest feeling ever.
As I was flipping through the photo book, Mum called out to me saying that someone was at the door.
I closed the photo book gently and set it at the side of my bureau then descended down the staircase.
"Who do you think it is?" I asked my mum, grabbing a water bottle before heading to the door.
"I don't know, why won't you check and see?"
I uncapped the bottle and took a gulp then opened the door.
I nearly choked on my water as I saw who was standing in the doorway.
"Luke?" I coughed, "W-What are you doing here?"
"Hey, Desi. Sorry, I didn't mean to make you choke on your water." He snickered.
I playfully whacked his shoulder and glared at him. "You're so sick!"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. This isn't what I came here for." He laughs.
"Well, why did you come here?" I asked.
"Do you want to go out for lunch?"
"Where?"
"It's a surprise." He smirked.
"How many times do I have to tell you, I hate surprises!" I groaned.
"Trust me!" He grabbed my wrist and started pulling me out the door, "This surprise won't bore the heck out of you."
"I swear to God, if you take me to a high class restaurant, I will refuse to go."
"Why not?" He asked, dragging me behind him.
"Because, it's so cliche."
"Well, you have to put up with where I'm taking you."
"Why are you even taking me to this unknown place? What's so important about it?"
"I have another surprise for you."
-
"Luke?" I sighed, mentally facepalming myself.
