With each tug on my hair more tears fell from my eyes I blamed my mother's rough treatment of my head. The servants came in with my dress it was lovely very full and covered in white lace my parents had spared no expense they had to keep up appearance no one could know I was with child so the servants put on my corset and laced it up as tight as they could I looked at my mother "is this ok for the baby" she sneered at me " that child doesn't matter it won't even be your" I let fresh tears fall as they laced my dress up. As I walked down to the back garden my father whispered to me " I'm sorry my child but you have done this to yourself you would have been happy with Travis and you still may but you have to let go of this child and move on.

The single violin began to play and my father walked me down the aisle to the I looked forward praying this would all be ok. As we said our vows Travis looked at me with hate in his eyes as the ceremony ended Travis pulled me along behind him as he walked. There was no celebration after just Travis pushing me up into his carriage and taking me to my new home.
On the road to travises home he spoke harshly to me. " I don't know what you where thinking but ill have that thing taken care of my way and then we can move on.
Once we arrived at the house Travis pulled me along to what would essentialy be a prison for me until I delivered the child he shoved me through the door and followed me in shutting the door behind him. " know your mine face the wall " he pointed at the wall behind me " and get on your knees" I could see anger in his eyes so I did as I was told when the bite of a belt across my back made me cry out. "Kasandra you will be getting 20 of those everyday until you deliver if you can carry the child that long ...

The days went by slower and slower my back was always in so much pain but he wouldn't win I would protect this child I knew what I bad to do but when. One day when it was raining Travis came to me " well kasandra it seems you get a reprieve from the lashes for a few days I must go into town for business. You will stay in this room no matter what understand." I nodded and he turned and left . I watched him ride off down the road as soon as he was out of sight I began to gather my things and then started running.
