I cried out in panic as my hands went to my throat, as well Jacob and my father both grabbed at Travis pulling him off me I fell to the ground tears in my eyes Travis yelled " you are nothing more than a whore, you cost me everything, my servants wouldn't tell me what you had done or where you had gone so I fired them all, people had said I had gone mad with grief of loosing you, but really it was becuase now no women wanted me due to all the pain I'd gone through. You destroyed my life. I went to yell back at him but jacob knelt and helped me up he put a finger to my lip , your father wants to handle this as he has decided until we marry you are back under his care my father looked at me and grinned and kicked Travis out into the main room and the scene that followed was I had no words ....
Travis fell once again on his arse and yelled obscenities at my father who interrupted him with a quick shove back to the ground. " you told everyone my daughter was dead that she fell I'll and passed in her sleep even had a casket buried in a grave with her name on the stone, was anything you told anyone the truth becuase there my daughter stands with a man that has taken her in and saved her life from where you nearly beat her to death, Travis yelled I was not trying to kill her I was trying to kill the bastard she carrys... my father clicked his tounge oh well then almost murding her in your eyes was okay then if it got rid of the child. My daughter made a wrong choice I will no longer say a mistake as that child is what saved her life. Travis I have friends here that are law officers and I am now holding you responsible for falseifing death records as well as theft of dowry as with her death you could keep it but now that I know she is alive and very well here ,you loose it all. Travis jumped to his feet and ran at my father making the choice suddenly to change and run toward jacob and I again, this time though he didnt get anywhere near us as Jacob's workers and many others including my mother stepped between him and us.
