Nickys POV

I felt her arm around me, but I turned away from her, I couldn't get close to her only to get my heart broken because she would never feel the way I feel about her.

"Look, Nicky, i just want to know if you are sure your okay."

I ignore her. She moves her arm away from me. I instantly want her to put it back.

"I know times can be tough and all, but there's always hope and things will get better"

What a load of shit.

"NO! THEY WONT! YOU DONT KNOW ME, YOU DONT KNOW WHATS HAPPENED IN MY LIFE!" I yelled, people turned to stare at me, but I couldn't give two shits about them.

The look on Lorna's face instantly made me regret that I had just yelled at her.

"I'm sorry, Lorna. I've been going through a lot of shit lately, and I'm taking it out on you"

She didn't say anything, but she put her arm around me again. She then pulled me closer and I rested my head on her shoulder. I know I had just met the woman, but I needed comfort right now. I got up quickly.

"Sorry, I have to go..." I said, while I felt myself falling to the ground.

"Woah, Nicky!" I heard Lorna say as she quickly caught me in her arms.

"I think you should come with me, my apartment is just across the street"

I didn't argue, as Lorna let me out one of my arms around her neck and led me across the street. We got to her apartment and she laid me down on the couch.

"I think you need to go and get checked out Nicky, you almost passed out for no reason"

But I know why. I haven't eaten or drank anything for three days. But I couldn't tell Lorna that.

"Let me get you changed, Nicky"

No way. She couldn't do that.

"No no no, it's okay. I'm fine"

"No you're not, you need clean clothes, you were in that same outfit yesterday as well, and it doesn't look like you bothered to change at all."

Lorna disappeared and returned with a T-Shirt and some old pyjama pants that were probably too big for her.

"I'll get you dressed, you look really sick and pale."

Fuck. Oh no.

She took off my jacket, and immediately saw that scars and fresh cuts on my arm.
