Clayton grabbed the note out of my hand and read it out loud, "Karma? What does this mean? What did you do? Who did you piss off?"
I didn't answer, I couldn't answer. That's a lot of MY money stolen.
"Maybe it was Destiny" Molly answered for me.
"Destiny, who's Destiny?" Clayton questioned.
"This bitch that taurmented Ryan in school, well, until she showed her who's boss." Molly chuckled.
"Whatta'ya mean, showed her who's boss? Ryan, what did you do?" Clayton looked annoyed, maybe I was too much drama for him.
I didn't answer. Instead, I pulled my phone and called Mike.
"Hello?"
"Mike, are you busy?" I sobbed.
"Uh, yeah. I'll call you later."
Mike hung up the phone.
I was getting tired of never hearing from Mike, and him blowing me off. Quite frankly, I was tired of everything.
But, Molly was right. Destiny was the only person who would have any reason to get 'revenge'.
There was so much anger built up inside of me, I finally spoke. "Bring me to Mike's house."
Clayton huffed, "Why?"
"Just do it" I snapped.
He brought me to Mike's, I didn't say a word the whole way there.
I pounded on the door until he opened it, "Ryan? I told you I was busy. Clayton? What are you guys doing?"
"Busy at home? You always seem to be busy. Every time I try to get a hold of you, or we're supposed to hangout. What's going on Mike?" I squeezed passed him into his house.
At first at looked like he was just hanging out alone, until my eyes wandered to the dinning room. Where sat Conrad, Skibz and some girl. They were just staring at me. I mean, if someone came storming into the house I was in, I'd stare too.
Skibz laughed. I ignored him.
"Ryan, you look crazy." Mike whispered. I stopped and turned around.
"Crazy? Yeah, crazy to think you actually liked me? Crazy to think you weren't an asshole? Crazy to think you weren't just wasting my time?" I shouted, louder than I wanted too.
"Oh shut up" Skibz laughed.
"Excuse me?" I snapped.
"Yeah seriously Ryan, I don't have time for your shit. It was nice at first, but I think it's time I moved on too bigger; I mean smaller, things."
After that it was silent. Expect for Skibz laughing. I hate to admit it, but tears filled my eyes.
"Dude, what the fuck?" Clayton chimed in.
"Oh shut up Clay, why are you even here?" Mike chuckled.
"Because after seeing somebody for quite some time, they want to talk you about their problems, Michael. Somebody broke into her house, and stole her money."
Mike just shrugged, and Skibz was laughing super obnoxiously.
Then it hit me, "It was you." I stared at Skibz. He looked at me, winked, then laughed harder.
Clayton rushed over to him and unloaded a right-hook into his cheek. Conrad flew out of his seat to stop Clayton from following Skibz to the ground. Mike charged Clayton, but Conrad got in the way. "What the fuck man?!" Mike yelled, swinging over Conrad's shoulder.
Clayton broke free from Conrad and took Mike to the ground. Clayton was the smallest guy in the room, but he clearly wasn't the weakest.
The girl was helping Skibz off the ground. Clayton's fists were just flying, Mike trying to stop him. "Guys stop!" Conrad hollered, tugging on Clayton. Skibz finally got up, blood pouring out of his nose like a faucet.
"Skibz, dont." The girl said pulling on his arm.
I was so glad Molly was in the car. I didn't know what to do.
Skibz had pulled a knife, and my heart began to race. I had to stop them. But how??
I looked around as quick as I could. My eyes stopped on a gun sitting on the stand behind me. My heart was beating so fast, you would think I just ran a mile. Addrenalin took over, and I picked up the gun.
I've never shot a gun, so I hoped it was loaded, or whatever. I released a bullet into the floor. Everyone jumped. I pointed it at Skibz, "sit down, now." He sat.
I pointed it at Mike, "Get up." Clayton got off him, shooting me a wink. Conrad backed up. I pointed to a different chair, and Mike sat. The girl stood with her hands in the air. I pointed the gun back at Skibz, "where is my money?!"
He stood up, "sit!"
"It's in the freezer. Still in the envelope." He was pissed. But so was I, it was my money. Mike must have been apart of it, if it was in his freezer. I became even more pissed off. Clayton stepped away, "i'll get it"
At this point, the fear had taken over my body and I began shaking. I couldn't let them see my weakness. I just wanted to cry. Clayton returned a few seconds later, showing me he got it, "its all here."
I took the bullets out of the gun and threw it at Mike's junk, "Have fun with someone smaller." Then I escorted myself out, Clayton ran out with me, yelling "I fucking quit!"
Quit what? I didn't care, I had enough on my plate. We got in the car and I just started balling my eyes out.
"Ryan, what's wrong?" Molly asked, "I heard a gun, is everything alright?"
I wondered who else heard the gun, and I guess Clayton did too, because he started the car and squealed out of there.
"I'm fine Molly"
"Are you sure?" She questioned.
I just nodded. We got home and I went straight to my bedroom and cried myself to sleep. I didn't even know what time it was, or where Clayton and Molly were. I just wanted it all to go away.
I just put a bunch of people at gun point, I found out Mike was using me, caused a brawl and he pretty much called me fat. On the bright side, I stood up for myself, got my money back, and found out what Mike's deal was. Which was, he's a prick.
It was probably just going to be me and Molly again. Clayton won't talk to me after this again. At least I still had Jocelyn, if I didn't tell her about my drama.
Most importantly, I had my money back.
