We finally took off, Mike kept thanking me for the car. He said this would be the last ride in his current car, and I'm glad I could be part of it.

"By the way, you look gorgeous" he smiled. I felt my face get hot and my heart smiled, but I smiled bigger.

We drove around and stopped at every house that had a 'for sale by owner' sign. I called every number on the spot, and wrote down the ones in my budget and the ones that suited me. Which at the end of the day, totaled out to two. But whatever, two is better than none. Plus, Mike said there's a house for sale he wants to show me tomorrow, but only if I go to school. So, I guess I'm going to school tomorrow.

We arrived back at my house, he kissed me goodnight, and we went or separate ways. For once, my life finally seems to be going great. All the excitement was getting the best of me, and I was exhausted. So I headed up to bed.

Unfortunately, I had went to school. Mike had brought me to school and would be picking me up. At least it was going by quick and the bitch-crew wasn't fucking with me. Just one more class until the final bell. I could do this.

The phone rang in the classroom, which woke me out of a day dream. Probably just another 'you forgot to call in your attendance'. I was wrong, it was a 'send Ryan C. to the office'. I was confused, but I went. After all, it got me out of class. I got to the office and the principal called me into his office.

"Do you know why I called you here?" He snarled. No actually, Mr. I have an over bite, I don't. I shook my head.

"Well, let me refresh your memory. You and Ms. Destiny Anderson don't get along I hear, correct?" Why was he giving me such attitude? Why was I even here? I nodded.

He glared at me, "so I'm assuming she's not lying about you putting this note in her locker?" He slammed down a note that read 'nasty slut'. As much I'd love to call her many things, I wouldn't, and especially in a note.

"What?! No!" I shouted. I knew life was going to well to be true. He raised an eyebrow like who was waiting for me to change my mind and admit to it. "You have cameras in the halls, look at them!" I demanded. I was not about to go down for this.

"I suggest you stop raising your voice with me young lady, unless you want to land a seat in detention." Did he not hear me? CHECK THE CAMERA'S. I've never had detention before in my life.

I sighed, "are you going to check the cameras, please?".

He rolled his eyes and let out a huff, "I suppose, but I don't see why she would lie about something like this." Um, because she's a bitch.

After a few minutes of silence and a few more minutes of 'arguing', he watched the camera tapes. Turns out, she put the own note in her locker: shocking. He dismissed me back to class, 45 seconds before the bell rang. So I made my way to class just in time to grab my bag and my books.

The rest of the day decided to drag on, but finally? The final bell rang. I was excited to see Mike, and the house he wants to show me. I anxiously made my way outside, but Mike was no where to be found. I assumed he was just running late, so I stood around patiently waiting.

A half an hour passed, and the parking lot was empty and I was still standing there, waiting. I checked to see if he had called or texted, nope. I hope he was okay. So I called him, no answer. A million thoughts went through my head. Did he get an accident? Maybe his dad needed him. Maybe he realized he didn't want me or anything similar. My thoughts were interrupted by my phone ringing. I assumed it was Mike, "hey, what's going on? Are you okay?".

"Yeah-", that was good to hear, except it was my boss.

"Could you come in today at 4?" That was quite the opposite of the phone call I was hoping for. I decided I would, seems how Mike clearly wasn't coming. I guess I should start my walk home.

As soon as I got out of work, I checked my phone. Nothing. I sat in my car and began to cry. Everything good has to end right? I drove home and went straight to bed, not caring when I'd wake up, or if I woke up.
