Juliet had her arm wrapped around Chloe's and walked with her to the bar, ordering four shots to start the night of. The bartender flashed her a knowing grin when she knocked back her glasses and scanned the room. There weren't many people around she considered to have a steamy night with and leave first thing in the morning. It was still early so she figured she had time, otherwise she'd just dance around like a crazy person, pretending there were no people around. Those kind of nights were the best, the nights you just didn't give a shit. Chloe grabbed her hand when she finished her shots and dragged her to the dancefloor. The energy around them was vibrant, it felt like everyone came to the nightclub tonight to let lose. She jumped around, swaying her hair, seriously not giving a damn. It was the same for Chloe, her friend seemed to have a good time as well. Then again Chloe probably didn't care what other people thought of her considering she already found the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. She only cared about Tyler's opinion and she knew for a fact that the man thought the same. Tyler was a nice guy, working at his family's business and doing charity during the weekends. He loved baseball, was a great uncle and treated Chloe like she was a queen. Juliet wished them well.
After spending what felt like a lifetime on the dancefloor Juliet was ordering them another drink while Chloe searched for a booth to sit at. With two girly drinks in hand Juliet made her way to Chloe's booth and took a seat across her. The sound was less intense in the secluded area, they could have an actual conversation without needing to yell at each other.

"Talk to me."

Juliet flickered her eyes back to Chloe, the brunette waited patiently for her to start talking. Her friend knew when to push Juliet and when to give her time. Chloe was one of those people who could read her without needing words. It was a friendship she'd cherish forever.

"Dustin Hanson."

Chloe narrowed her eyes on her, "What about the guy?"

Juliet sighed and reached for her girly drink, sipping the sweet yet strong drink while she gathered her thoughts. There was a lot about the guy which annoyed her, but if she was actually honest with herself those were just assumptions. Things she picked up through the media. She didn't know the guy personally so she actually didn't have the right to judge him like that. She couldn't help herself though.

"Clair wants an interview."

Juliet noticed the change in her friend's eyes. Unlike her Chloe didn't have an intense hate toward the guy. She didn't like his music, mainly because rock wasn't her genre, but she admired his hotness like any other woman. It was only admiring from a distance, she didn't go crazy like his fans did. Those people were intense.

"That's a huge opportunity, Jules."

"I know."

"But you don't want to do it."

Juliet nodded, "I don't want to, but I have to." She swirled the black straw around the brightly colored liquid, "Clair more or less threatened to hurt my career if I didn't do it."

"Clair is a bitch." Chloe muttered.

Juliet smiled, "I agree, but the woman knows what she's doing. I at least admire that."

"I suppose it's admirable to have strong, independent women around." Chloe's eyes sparkled again, "So you're interviewing Dustin?"

Juliet couldn't help but to smile seeing how excited the thought made her friend, "I am, this Friday. I have to hand in my article by Monday."

Chloe's eyes widened, "Jules that's tomorrow! You shouldn't be drinking and staying out late." Her friend reached for the drink in front of Juliet, but she was quicker than Chloe and managed to pull the glass back, "Take your job more seriously, would you? A lot of women would kill for a job like yours. Do you know how rare it is for people to actually do what they like? Yet you're treating it like a joke."
