A year ago Zachary decided to quit the band, he didn't feel like he belonged in that world, ever. Things got rough between him and the lead singer so he decided it was the right time to finally say goodbye to the world he never belonged to. Juliet wanted to support him no matter what, so when he made that decision she was right there with him. So was his family.
His lovely sisters who welcomed her with open arms started to be in his life even more, always texting him or calling him just to chat about random things. His mother who started cooking up big dinners because she figured her boy needed to eat to get back on his feet always treated her like her own daughter. Juliet loved Zachary's family. And even though they figured he was out of sorts because of leaving the band, Zachary was actually doing better than ever. They were getting married in two weeks and he looked like he was in total control of every aspect in his life. He looked genuinely happy.
Zachary was currently working on fixing up a bike while she watched him. Her fiancé was dressed in faded jeans which had seen better days and a basic white tee. It was more or less his outfit to go whenever he was going to town or when he was fixing up a bike or car together with his dad. Leaning back against the lounge chair on the porch she glanced aside when she suddenly heard movement beside her.

"Hey Jules."

"Anna." Juliet greeted back, Zachary's youngest sister was holding up a tray and grinned knowingly at her, "What's with that look?" Juliet asked curiously, slightly afraid of whatever the cunning Anna was planning.

"Nothing much." Anna shrugged, "Thought you'd want to offer Zach something to drink."

Juliet got to her feet and cautiously reached for the glass of lemonade, "Thanks."

"No need to thank me." Anna brushed her off.

Juliet had no idea what the woman was planning, but Anna was definitely up to no good. Since the woman wasn't sharing anything Juliet decided to brush it off for now and walked down the steps, strolling towards her fiancé who tossed something rather loudly in his toolbox and hopped on the massive looking bike.

"Hey."

Zachary looked at her, a grin spreading across his face as he watched her approach him, "Hey." He greeted back, reaching out to her to brush a stray lock behind her ear, "You okay?"

"I'm fine." She told him firmly, "The boys are coming over next week. You ready to face them?" She handed him the glass of ice cold lemonade.

"Thanks." He took a sip of it, "I've stayed in touch with them after I left the band."

"I'm just worried that Adam might blame you for the band breaking up."

Zachary carefully placed the glass of lemonade down beside his toolbox and reached for her, making her sit in front of him on the massive bike. Smiling she wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned in to kiss him, Zachary, however, pulled back and smirked knowingly down at her.

"Let's go for a ride together."

"Right now?" She asked confused.

"Just fixed this baby up, of course I'd want to take her for a ride."

She smiled weakly at him, "Okay." She agreed, "The band-"

"They're fine." Zachary told her, "Dustin has a promising career ahead of him and the others were like me. We were just there because we liked working together and helping Dustin achieve his dream. But he doesn't need us anymore. We're all doing fine and we're okay."

"Okay."

Not wanting to talk about the band or anything related to the band Zachary took her with him, it was her first time riding a bike and she loved it. She'd never ride one on her own, but she loved sitting behind him with her arms wrapped around his waist while they sped off. The helmet she was wearing surely messed up her hair, but she couldn't care less. Zachary took his time, they headed back to his family house around dinner time. He wanted to take her to his favorite diner, but his mother would kill him if they skipped family dinner without notice.
