Like she anticipated Dustin walked through the door, a confident look on his handsome face as his green eyes flickered to her. He was tall, dark and dangerous. His full lips pulled to a smirk while his green eyes smoldered with dark promises. Dressed in a simple black tee and jeans while he wore heavy looking boots. His chocolate brown hair was messy looking, like he spend the night with a woman who couldn't get enough of him, pulling on his hair like it was the only thing she could do. He turned to his manager, laughed at something he said and patted on the back before he focused back on her. With confident strides he approached her, taking a seat across her in the one-seat while he reached over the table to shake hands with her.

"Dustin Hanson."

Reaching for his hand she shook it, "Juliet Lake."

He squeezed her hand in response and then pulled away, leaning back in his chair looking quite comfortable with himself. He threw an arm around the back of the seat while he spread his legs. She blushed when her eyes traveled to his crotch, it was for a split second but Dustin caught her action. His smirk getting sinister.

"Sorry to keep you waiting."

She cleared her throat, "It's okay, Adam and I had a few things to discuss."

"Did he complain about me? Let me assure you that only half the things he say about me are true."

Juliet let her eyes travel to Adam who shook his head at his client, "Adam only had nice things to say about you." Which was a lie since the manager only told her about a list of topics he rather not have her talk about, "So how was the tour?" She asked, trying to make some small talk to get him more comfortable around her though by the looks of it he didn't mind her presence at all, "The band settling in nicely?"

"The tour was intense." He shared, "Never met fans that fanatic before, but it was great meeting them. They were kind and made us feel welcome." He leaned forward, reaching for the water pitcher to pour himself a glass of water, "We arrived here last night, so you know, it was tiring but we're settling."

"You doing interviews your entire stay?"

He chuckled, "Yeah, promoting the new album." He took a sip from his water and met her gaze, "Part of the job, you know."

"So all work and no play for you these couple of weeks?"

She was slowly moving to topics which would interest people and the amused look in Dustin's green eyes told her he knew it.

"The boys and I are doing lots of photoshoots and interviews so I don't think we have the time or energy to do anything else."

"So unlike popular belief the life of a rockstar isn't all about fabulous parties and dating gorgeous women?"

He nodded, "Unfortunately. We spend days practicing, recording while also trying to keep in touch with our fans. The connection with people who are as passionate about our music as us is very important to me."

"So I listened to your new album." While she was traveling to the hotel, but she left that part out and continued, "It's less intense than your usual sound. Dare I say more emotional."

Dustin leaned back in his seat, something in his eyes changing. It was like he was there, but not there. A distant look in his eyes. She assumed he was reliving the reasons why his sound changed and she was okay with that. She hoped it would lead to some honest answers.

"Things happened which made me decide to change my life around, that includes my music. I'm well aware the new sound won't be appreciated by the majority of our fans, but I have to stay true to myself, you know."
