Chloe's wedding came up and as a bridesmaid it was Juliet's duty to be at the inn earlier than the other guests. Chloe had raved to her all morning about the inn and how excited she was about meeting all her loved ones. Her constants texts were adorable, Chloe was blowing up her phone, but she didn't mind. She knew when her big day came along she'd do the same.
It was nearly evening and she was still on the road together with Zachary, heading to the inn where Chloe's wedding would be held. They had an amazing view of the sea on top of a hill, Chloe wanted it to be memorable. So their entire weekend was going to be about making memories together.
They'd stay the weekend at the inn together with Chloe and Tyler's loved ones. Tonight they'd have drinks with everyone and tomorrow Chloe would get married. Juliet was nervous, which didn't make sense since it wasn't her big wedding weekend, it was Chloe's. Yet the feeling wouldn't go away. Deep down she knew it wasn't just Chloe's wedding weekend which made her anxious. There were so many things going on at once which made her a nervous wreck. Zachary noticed immediately and placed his hand upon her thigh."It's going to be alright."
"The media is going nuts after your official statement last night."
Zachary gave her thigh a squeeze, "Yeah, but we didn't keep quiet about our relationship. Those pictures of us together prepared everyone for the official statement. If it was Dustin who made that statement people would have cared, I'm just the guitarist so I'm sure by Monday it has blown over and some other celebrity fell victim to the press."
Juliet pouted her lips, "You know almost eighty percent of those scandals are actually fabricated by the celebrity in question because they need the press to keep their image alive."
"Are we talking about the so called nudes which always seem to be leaked by a third person?"
Juliet smirked, "Just saying, I'll never send you any nudes."
Zachary chuckled, "Don't need them. Your naked body is burned in my brain, an image I can never get rid of."
She shifted her gaze to his face and gave his shoulder a soft shove, not actually wanting to injure her driver, "You shouldn't tell me that." The smile that spread across her face actually hurt her jaw, but she couldn't get rid of it, "It takes away the little mystery we still have left in our relationship."
"Well, there is still you meeting my family." Zachary reminded her, "Mom has been nagging me about bringing you home. Then there are my sisters who keep texting me every single time they find a picture online. Or asking silly questions like, 'oh and does Juliet also like apple cider. We should definitely make our homemade apple cider when she comes over'." Juliet laughed when Zachary imitated his little sisters, "They're driving me insane." Zachary admitted to her.
"I want to meet them." Juliet told him straight out, "They sound like nice people."
"They're nice enough." She could hear the smile in Zachary's voice which told her that he did think they were wonderful, he just didn't want to straight out say it, "Sometimes things are pretty loud though. I know you prefer a more isolated environment."
"That's not true." She knew it sounded weak because Zachary was actually right.
She felt Zachary's eyes on her, "You always look uncomfortable when you're waiting for me backstage. You prefer to stay at the hotel. When we're going out with the guys and they're getting sociable you never stray from my side, because let's admit it I'm rather boring and only sit at the bar with Adam."
"Boring is the last word I'd use to describe your personality." She murmured.
She blinked when he suddenly poked her cheek, snickering at her, "The way I fuck doesn't say anything about my personality. I'm different outside of bed."
